“This place has been here for a while and yet I’m gonna call it a hidden gem! It’s tucked away into a small storefront with another shop and is worth you stopping if you need some cooking off.The big thing here is the homemade frozen custard…making it so much softer, smoother, and creamier than traditional ice cream. All the flavors you expect and a cute outdoor patio with tables and ample seating. They also make great take home desserts like ice cream cakes and pies which are amazing for a party or celebration.”
“Romano's started as our favorite and go-to pizza place in the area. We've recently used them for catering, and they blew away our expectations, the food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved the food as well. So we will be going back for more than just pizza. They always, always deliver on time, both when delivering our pizza and the catering orders. When we call, they know who we are, when we walk in, they know who we are. We are always greeted so nicely and the owners are always accommodating. We have toddlers and they are just so nice to us and them and so patient. We recently made some special requests and they accommodated us just so our toddlers were happy.I can keep going, just do yourself a favor and stop in, have a slice or a dish, you won't regret it.”
“The breads are really fantastic but the prices are not. The sour dough boule is $22 and the baguette is not far behind. I have had many gluten free breads over the years from the West Coast to the East Coast and I have never encountered such an expensive bread. It is also quite small compared to other gluten free breads. The bread is delicious for an occasional indulgence.”
“It’s only takeout! But it’s worthy the drive. One of the best Chinese in the area. We tried so far- House special lo mein (small)- Shrimp chop suey (small)- Steamed Dumplings- Beef fried rice (small)- Spring rollDelicious and more than enough for two.”
“I'll freely admit nostalgia is coloring my review, but I still remember Ed and Linda and the old Shrub Oak Deli. Even though it's been over 30 years since I last visited, it warms my heart to see that there is still a deli here on the edge of main street, serving coffee, grab-n-go cooler drinks, and scratch tickets. If Ed and Linda are still around tell them I said hi!”
“We were looking for a restaurant that was close to a community theatre event we were attending, and decided to try 901 Wood Burning Kitchen and Bar. What a pleasant surprise! The food and service were really top notch! And the menu supported many different dietary requirements from vegetarian to gluten free. They can accommodate large parties, but its also great if you want to stop by for a seat at their spacious bar and have a drink and appetizers or a pizza. And I also want to mention we had I think the best gluten free dessert I've ever had. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back! Thanks again for the great service!Vegetarian options: There were many vegetarian options on the menu from salads, pizzas and entrees.Dietary restrictions: They also had gluten free options available!”
“The pizza is very light and there is a bread-y taste that I like. I don't feel heavy after eating it. I ordered chicken fingers and fries as well and the chicken fingers were so good, not tough and perfectly fried. My order was ready quickly and the gentleman behind the counter was nice and attentive. My new go-to.”
“Had the House Special Mei Fun -- it was delicious. Fair portion for the price. Could the lobby use a makeover? Of course, but don't write them off because of ”
“The food is amazing and completely overrides the lack of atmosphere and rude woman who triages orders. She's been there for a decade and we now fine her sass entertaining. The mac n cheese is to die for”
“Party of 9 for Sunday brunch celebrating 2 birthdays! The owners are lovely and the staff is attentive, friendly and provided great service. From making the reservation to departing after we dined...excellent experience.Dietary restrictions: They offer many gluten free options.”
“We chose My Cousin's for Mom's surprise 90th Birthday party and I can't rave enough about the professionalism, the Food, and the attention to detail! We met with Alyssa initially in December and she was a delightful pleasure to work with. Subsequent meetings and conversations were equally productive. The day of, Alyssa and David were both on hand assuring that this celebration moved forward like a precision time piece.Additionally! A huge thank you to Mary for her outstanding professionalism and customer care. And lastly the back of house for a delicious meal!”
“So I’m sitting here finishing my tacos ? so full I’m ready to burst , but I still want more . Hands down the very best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. And it’s very affordable. I will definitely be a regular customer now . Come eat here if you haven’t, I promise you won’t regret it and wanting more .”
“I drive all the way from white plains!! Almost 40 minutes to come here and pick up some of my favorite drinks and pastries!! Crema is the best!! Owner is very nice. Stop and and show some love! Please open a location in white plains!!”
“I'm so full, but I can't stop! If you get a waiter named, Bryant. He does a fabulous job serving; patient, proper eye contact, listens well (very attentive), learns your name, he's respectful, polite AND makes sure your table always has room for more food! (If you order more). The gentleman behind the bar; I never got his name but he made FANTASTIC Passion Fruit Mango Margarito. I think it was passion fruit but it definitely had Mango. He does a fabulous job as well.Kid-friendliness: My daughter got the perfect sized ice cream bowl. Iron Vine also makes sure to provide high chairs for families which is greatly appreciated. I truly appreciate Iron Vines service towards families and not just couples (hope my wife doesn't see this).”
“We were only guests ( late lunch at 2 pm) so it was like a private service. Waitress Sofia was very nice and helpful since we are not familiar with Georgian cuisine. We had dumplings and liked them a lot”
“Food was delicious 10/10 and loved the friendliness of the owner. Definitely coming back again. Got the steak, pork, and chicken tacos all delicious great for the price.”
“My daughter celebrated her 9th Birthday she had a blast. She loves being in the kitchen. Susan and the girls are very nice and helpful. They kept the kids engaged with different activities. It was very pleasant and Susan is a great, humbled person. During our interactions she listened and always kept the kids in mind.”
“We love dining at Asagao Sushi. The food is excellent. The fish is fresh, you have a choice of either sushi or ramen, and the presentation of the food makes it hard to dig in cause it is so beautiful. The service is professional and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Tonight we had a sashimi platter it contained 9 different fish! Each better than the next. And Chef Park and his amazing team shows great hospitality, they greet you on your way in and thank you for visiting them on the way out. You always feel welcome and appreciated.”
“I picked up Blondery's S'mores Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon roll at the Beacon Farmers Market recently. OMG. The love that goes into their products is undeniable. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. I love that they're a part of our community and am excited to try more of their creations. <3”
“We LOVE Sweet Delites. Their pastries are delectable and their cakes are always beautiful. They are my family's go-to for all special occasions. They recently prepared my daughter's 100 day celebration cake, their most beautiful creation for us yet! Their customer service is always excellent, seamless communication. I look forward to enjoying their cakes for many, many more celebrations.”
“Another really great find in Mount Kisco, Westchester. A new Turkish, middle-eastern restaurant. We decided to visit using a Local Flavor promotion and are glad we did. My wife ordered the Moussaka. I ordered Adana. Both were incredibly delicious! Really, really delicious. (The Adana, was not as spicy as I've normally experienced. Still, superb.) The room is small. So, you may have to wait. We were there on a Tuesday which would normally be a slow day for most restaurants. But, soon, every table was filled and people were waiting. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The menu is a little bit "pricey." Many entrees are $20 and more. Still, I would encourage you to give this place a try.”
“I popped in to this cute coffee shop and ended up eating some of the most DELICIOUS empanadas I've had in years. There is a bit of indoor seating (and plenty of outdoor seating), so you can relax and enjoy a coffee, in a real cup. The staff were very friendly.”
““La Classe” , magnificent, taste, presentation, “The true art of preparing the best of Asia and Japan !!!! ….. where I travelled for the last 20 years …”
“We have done a couple parties there the owner never disappoints it can be from 15 to 50 people the food and staff are amazing can't wait to do my son's party there in the spring. All of our freinds always tell us how they enjoy are parties there not to mention the drinks and appetizers.”
“Can’t say enough good things about Gracie’s Market. Their Italian sandwiches are my favorite. Always such fresh good quality ingredients and enjoyable every time. This past weekend my family and I tried their burgers and they were awesome, even my children approved of them! The owner Isaac is very friendly and the cleanliness of the place 10/10. Always a pleasure coming here.Kid-friendliness: Bring my children with me every time and the owner is great.”
“This is such a great place. Various Mediterranean dishes will leave you satiated. Service was quick and excellent. Free parking is available on site. I highly recommend it.”
“Went on a cold chill day. Sat and enjoyed a hot cider and the delicious weekly empanadas bangers and mash and you love ordered a beer and a chicken sandwich. The bartender was busy but quick and nice.”
“Stopped by as a hot dog enthusiast who just happened to find themselves in Ossining and was not dissapointed! Had two dogs, forget the names but ones was a spin on a BLT and the other a dog w pastrami and kraut; both came on split too New England style rolls, both buttered and toasted, resilient enough to support the generous toppings. Both were fantastically delicious, the BLT dog was crisp, delicious, the dog itself snappy and beefy, while the other had the a great balance between the crisp, sour slaw and the melty cheese. The owner, who happened to be alone that day was kind and generous, and the next time I'm passing g this way I'll be sure to stop by to sample the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend!”
“WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. Everyone at the party raved about the food, and Octavio surprised us at the end by serving his home made caramel stuffed churro's with chocolate sauce. If you love great food, you must give him a visit...”
“Love this Thai restaurant. It’s relatively casual, and not a huge place. The food has been consistently good which is hard to find! Love the pad Thai with tofu and spring rolls. We’re lucky to have this place.”
