“Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Nino is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He helped me figure out how much food to order for my daughter's birthday party, and what food to get, and he even told me to give him a call if we were running low and he would have some pizzas delivered right away. The food was delicious, especially the chicken francese and the penne vodka. I'll definitely be using Putnam Valley Market to cater whatever party we throw next! Also, had a chance to try their pizza this week -- so good!”

“I went there with my boyfriend. The atmosphere is nice, people and food were great! We enjoyed our delicious food. A must try is the chicken francaise pizza, the cold pizza and the regular. I could not be happier.”

“Delicious food & drinks. Super friendly staff. Saturday & Sunday brunch is incredible. The place is always decorated for the holidays. We’ve been going there for years. Even though covid shutdowns, years of road construction blocking their entrance, they never gave up. They still decorated the place, had specials, and it seemed the portions got bigger & better. We’ve had some really fun parties & great times there. We support them every chance we get. Highly recommended!!!”

“I’ve eaten multiple times at Our Kitchen and have always had a great experience - the food, staff, service and atmosphere have always been wonderful. However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!”

“It was so nice to come back to Himalaya after so many years! My first visit was in 2013 when I had just become vegetarian, and I returned again in 2017 as a new vegan. Now, as a 9-year vegan, I was excited to see that they still offer so many delicious vegan-friendly options.

I started with a red sangria, then the Steamed Veg Momos, which were fresh, handmade, and packed with a flavorful mix of vegetables. The Lasooni Gobi was perfectly crispy with a delicious Himalayan sauce.

For entrees, I ordered the Veg Thali, Tadka Dal, and the Veg Korma. The Veg Thali was a wonderful way to sample several classic dishes, the Tadka Dal was comforting and full of aromatic spices, and the Veg Korma was rich, creamy, and made with a dairy-free cashew-based sauce. I also enjoyed the paratha made without butter, which paired perfectly with the curries. It’s the best I’ve had!

Himalaya is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. The food is consistently flavorful, the staff is welcoming, and they do an excellent job accommodating vegan diners.

Whether you’re vegan or simply looking to try authentic Nepali cuisine, I highly recommend stopping by. I’m so glad I came back, and it definitely won’t be another several years before my next visit!”

“Emilio, the owner was very pleasant & accomodating. Though I ordered the steak in a sauce with Rice & Beans. He wanted me to taste his wife's chicken in a cream sauce -- he provided me with a small plate which was amazing. Everything was delish -- like my own home latin cooking. The black beans came very close to my own -- which I take great pride in making. It was a throughly wonderful experience. Let me add that La Panaderia has the best Latin food in Peekskill. The juices are to die tor.”

I had an excellently crafted cappuccino and decided to try the gluten-free almond cookies (come in a package of 4). For those of you who are gluten-free or gluten sensitive, you know how difficult it is to find that perfectly delicious, made with love, delicacy. These are out of this world and have a full almond taste and are wonderfully chewy. A highly recommended respite for anyone looking for that perfect spot to enjoy your coffee or tea, and dive into a delectably home made perfection.”

“Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my sister, we started with steamed mussels in red sauce & divine bread. We ordered their Sunday sauce with Meatball,sausage,spare rib, bracelets on rigatoni W/a dollop of Ricotta cheese. Couldn’t finish all of it took the rest home. “The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. Staff is very friendly. Our server Diego ( hope I spelled it correctly) was, informative, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. A matter of fact, in today's dark & divided climate; he was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed his menu suggestions very much. The food was a plus 10! “Too crazy in there on a long weekend to even take a pic of the ice cream. The ice cream was good. Half scoops are huge. The fig flavor was interesting, glad I tried it. My son enjoyed his cookie dough.

The shop is small inside and it got pretty hectic with the crowd. I would have sampled a few more flavors, but it was just too busy to really take my time.

Best bet is to grab your ice cream and eat outside with the beautiful view.”
