Sophisticated without being pretentious. Loved the chef's creativity, there's definitely passion behind the food. Dinner was fantastic, will definitely be back to try the brunch menu.
The food and decor inside this artfully curated home was a feast for the taste buds and eyes. Located in an equally quaint town, Krebs 1899 is a must place to dine. Our brunch started with passed homemade pastries for the table (the apple pie scone was amazing), beautifully prepared entrees such as a garden fresh vegetable and white bean cassoulet with a perfectly fried egg and an impressive wine list to boot. Ate here 7 weeks ago -- long enough for any giddiness to wear off. This meal remains memorable -- in my case, duck with a really crispy skin -- and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat.
