Me and my boyfriend both ordered the filet medium well. Mine was fine but my boyfriend's was definitely more on the medium almost medium rare side. Other wise everything else was great especially the homemade ice cream!
The salads were good 9/10. The duck 6/10 undercooked and chewy. I've had the duck in most of the Syracuse area restaurants that serve it and this was probably my least favorite. Cote du Rhone red on the menu by the glass 9/10. Fried mushroom appetizer 7/10. House made ice cream 9/10. .
We eagerly anticipated our dinner at Krebs having heard good things. Perhaps our waiter was new. When asked if one of the sparkling wines were rose, he answered yes because it came in a pink bottle. (It was a white). He was not very enthusiastic or positive about the food. He brought us the wrong check. His service was more like that in a chain restaurant than at an establishment like Krebs. The rolls were delicious. The duck was good. And the special salmon with lobster was excellent....
