So, if you are SERIOUS about VERY VERY good beer, this place is fantastic, they know know what the really good stuff is and they get it. And the pizza is quite good too. And the 2 brothers that own and operate it are very friendly. Maybe they know that's good for business but it seems genuine too. Could be the best taproom in Westchester if you are after world class beer. Tied with Bridge View Tavern right down the street.
The food score is based mostly on the beer. The selection is fantastic and rotates often. The pizza is decent in general and the weekly specials is fairly imaginative. The bartenders don't let you hit empty without asking if you'd like another.
It's an okay place to grab a bite. Indoor seating is rather cramped and it was chilly so the outside seating was not popular. Staff super friendly. First time trying it since we were exploring sleepy hallow. Reasonably priced. A bit dark. Pizza was okay. The fried mozzarella is a must-have with the spicy marinara.
