So disappointing. We came for lunch on a Monday and our server, Ryan, took our order and then we never saw her again. We ordered oysters (which were good) and a burger and brussel sprout “carbonara.” The burger was okay, but the brussel sprout side was just sad greens with melted cheese swimming in some sort of liquid. My partner and I are both adventurous eaters and bartenders who never ever send food back - but we wanted our money back for this one, as it was too gross to eat. Everything was also WAY overpriced. $26 for a very average burger with wiggly, undercooked bacon! We spent $75 overall for a terrible experience. I’m sad we fell for this obvious tourist trap. Finally, after 30 minutes of us sitting there with empty glasses, we had to hunt down the hostess so she would bring us the check. Never saw Ryan again. The view of the Hudson is beautiful! I would recommend getting oysters and maybe one drink and nothing else. Such a shame.

Outrageous prices for subpar food and slow service.
There’s also a surcharge to pay a gratuity to the chefs, but it seems like for a $30 burger they could afford to pay their chefs properly on their own.

We started with happy hour and ended with dinner and dessert—what a perfect way to wrap up our day. We sat on the patio with a gorgeous view of the river, making for such a peaceful and enjoyable evening. I had the fire-roasted cauliflower, which was vegan (who knew!) and packed with flavor and a hint of spice. A great choice for anyone looking for a plant-based option. My friend went for the crispy chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, and it was amazing—perfectly crispy and not too spicy. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area, especially during Halloween season with the festive vibes and talk of new cocktails coming soon.

I had one of the worst dining experiences recently.
From the moment we walked in, I felt unwelcome, and it all started with the waitress. It was clear from her expression that she was irritated as I tried to place my order. I understand that English is not my first language, but that should never have been a reason for the poor attitude. Her displeasure was obvious from the very beginning, and I could immediately sense the negative atmosphere.
Later, I read reviews about this restaurant mentioning discrimination, which unfortunately, confirmed what I had already felt. But even without knowing that beforehand, her attitude made it clear that she lacked professionalism.
Our food was another major disappointment. We ordered a $40 steak, and what we got was a piece of meat with a single sweet potato cut in half and two small mushrooms. The steak had no seasoning, the potato was bland and old—not even soft. When I asked for salt and some sauce, only then did she bring a small cup of sauce and some salt. It was shocking that she didn’t even ask us how we wanted our steak cooked. What we received was a rubbery, undercooked steak, leaking juice, and impossible to chew.
We also ordered two other dishes, which were passable but not great. While eating, I checked the reviews and found others mentioning hidden fees and additional charges on the bill. Sure enough, when we got our check, there was an unexpected charge labeled as something like a “chef’s compliment” fee. I don’t understand why we should pay an extra fee for the chef, especially when we already left a tip—the bare minimum, because honestly, if I could have left none, I would have.
This experience was far from what I expected, especially in a city that welcomes so many tourists, especially during this busy fall season before Halloween. I’ve never encountered such an unprofessional waitress in all my dining experiences. In a city known for its diversity, I would expect staff to treat everyone equally, regardless of where they’re from or how well they speak the language.
I’m extremely disappointed and would rate this restaurant 1 star. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

Awful experience. Hostess is completely incompetent. Waited 30 mins to be told it was an hour long wait. She doesn’t know how to use an iPad? Would recommend never going ever.

Location location location! I love coming here. It's my favorite outdoor seating pet friendly spot. The staff is wonderful. Drinks are great. The food is inconsistent. I love coming here even when the food is disappointing. Tonight's happy hour fish tacos were overly salted. I couldn't eat them. Last time I had the most delicious grilled white fish. Oh well! I'll be back.

I went there with my family about a week ago and forgot to write a review but couldn’t wait to share with everyone how good this place was! The food was outstanding and so was the service. The staff was so welcoming as we started to observe the place we couldn’t help but to notice how good the staff worked with each other it made atmosphere of the place so much more enjoyable. The chef Pedro if I’m not mistaken took the time to walk over to our table and explain some of the dishes to us I had the shrimp fried rice which was to die for, my wife got a perfectly cooked salmon and my son said he had the best burger of his life! I can’t wait to visit tarrytown again and run over there! The oysters were so fresh, our server Ryan was so attentive and sweet, we proceeded to the bar for a night cap where we were greeted by a young man Jose who made us the best cocktails ever!!! Over all this was the best experience I had going out to eat in the small Tarrytown! We will be back ?

I came here for my 3 week anniversary and my girlfriend absolutely loved it! This place is romantic, intimidate, great to chat, and most of all a great place to have delicious food. I got the lobster roll and it was like no other. TRY IT!!! My girlfriend got a Beef Braised Ribs and the meat fell off the bone!!!! The food here is like no other- and so are the drinks. Right amount of liquor for a fair price. I’ll definitely be returning for our 4 week anniversary lol.

I am in the business, so PLEASE BE AWARE!!! Your check will have hidden fees. Ordered a Martini and they brought me a “sidecar,” ( what’s watered down and left in shaker) $3up charge. Then there was another charge for almost $4. What was this for? “Chef appreciation fee.” Please look at your checks and make sure you are not being charged with what I believe are nickel and dime charges. As someone in the business, we can make mistakes when inputting your order and you can get charged for something you did not order. But these charges were just really uncalled for. If I want to take care of any of your staff with a tip, I will do so. And it doesn’t matter how much you charged me for thing I did not ask for, it’s the sneaky way you did it. Oh, and the food and service was not good. I will leave it at that. I have never written a review before, but when I emailed the manager I received no response. Very unprofessional as well.

The ambience and the views are great, but when it came to the food we were very disappointed.
We started with appetizers and ordered the hamachi crudo and lamb meatballs. The hamachi crudo was absolutely awful. I had one bite and had to spit it out on my napkin. On the meatballs, there is a seasoning used that was overpowering and we weren't fans either.
For the main course, we ordered fish and chips and the lobster roll. The fish and chips was decent and ended up being our favorite dish of the night. The lobster roll was under seasoned but cooked well.
The tamarind margarita was the only thing we would return to the restaurant for, overall a very disappointing experience.
