“Food here is pretty good. The sushi seems pretty fresh. And I love their Pad Thai here. One of my top places to get it from in the Capital District area. Their fried rice is pretty good too, taste like they made it of the hibachi. Huts different from the fried rice at other restaurants and take places.“

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

They had a new menu item that interested me, crispy rice spicy tuna, I had something like it in LA this year and was craving a crispy rice sushi experience.
