I usually order my food to go over the phone,
I never ever received full order. I did give them multiple chances because their food is good. I’m so disappointed first time they delivered my missing meal, second time they said they won’t deliver but they sent me gift check for next time wich was good and I ordered again and again they missed put my salad to the order and I had to go back. Another two times happen and now I just can’t order from there any more. It’s not convenient to unwrap everything there and check if I have all I ordered and no time for me to. I need to be able just grab and go. So now I just give up on that restaurant 😢

Wonderful staff and very cute vibe. If we are ever in the area again we will for sure stop by. My boyfriend and I stopped in during Indigenous Peoples Day so there wasn't a rush of people, so we were sat right away.

I'm not sure. Wife and I went up on a Monday...Rhodes was closed. CHARACTERS looked open, but they were having a private party and closed to the public. Therefore, I can't rate them at this time.

It’s a nice place to hang out with friends. I didn’t try the food as I was coming the Diamond Mountain. So I had lemonade and french fries. I highly recommend if you ever stop by the Sloatsburg train station

This is the best pub for 100 miles. The food is good and reasonably priced, quiz night is fun and the atmosphere is always great. Recommend sitting in the bar, the restaurant doesn't have the same feel but the food is the same..

The good... the wings were really good, crispy, and well seasoned. The draft beer tasted fresh. The bad... the service... we started inside and told them that we were going to the outside area. The bartender told us that they would send someone right over. 15 minutes later, no server showed up. When she came out, she told us, "Next time" we need to tell her that we are going to be outside. It wasn't just us because something similar happened to the next couple that were seated. So yeah the service was bad.

Was waiting for a 40 min for a burger, it supposed to be medium rare but it’s not, and they didn’t serve me with a fork and knife.
I was completely exhausted but the food came fast and it was delicious. I wish I was more awake to enjoy it more.

Character’s is SUCH a family style restaurant. We are treated and greeted with such great energy and such nice employees. We love visiting here after we hit the NY Renaissance Faire. They fully accept us in there, costumes and all!! The Banoffee pie was especially delicious and a must try!!
