I'm so sad to write this review. But my favorite go-to restaurant has lost it soul. Rhodes tavern has been a fan favorite for years. It now has new owners who don't care about what they serve. I recently ordered a burger with onion rings, and both came out burnt. I normally wouldn't have really mind. Because this place was busy. It happens. But it wasn't busy. In fact, only two other tables were taken. The first thing the server said was.. we lost our chef around Father's Day. It's now Christmas time, and no chef wants to work for the new owner. It was really awful. Please don't waste your money on the new Rhodes. It feels more like a cheap diner now. Go somewhere else and just remember the good times we all had there years ago

If I could give 0 stars I would… this was a very unpleasant, pricey visit. The food was not good and service was not any better. We got nachos as an appetizer which were burnt, and our waitress was nowhere to be found (I even walked around and looked for her) to say something. For dinner, my sister and I ordered chicken marsala and chicken franchese… the chicken was 5 inches thick, dry, and unseasoned. It was served with a steak knife which should have been the first red flag bc a butter knife couldn’t cut through it. Well, neither could the steak knife. My mom’s cheeseburger was missing cheese and raw despite ordering medium. The waitress never came to check on us, so I found another waitress to ask for parmesan cheese, and for someone to send over our waitress. When our waitress finally came, she asked me if I wanted them to cut my chicken for me… While our chicken dinners got sent back, appetites lost, the rest of our party suffered through theirs but was very unhappy with it. I once again had to find the waitress for water refills, and after refilling she said “Enjoy!” meanwhile half the party didn’t have food in front of them because of how inedible it was. We had to find her again to ask for the check. A manager or chef never came to check on us, or see if my sister or I would like to order something else. The table behind us sent food back as well and management was nowhere to be found. If you want to leave hungry, or if you enjoy tough, unseasoned chicken 5 inches thick, I guess this is the place for you. We were very disappointed.

So sad.... This place used to be packed, now they're not open during the week anymore? It's really sad to see how a business can get totally destroyed. A thriving thriving gold mine..and now never a car in the lot..so sad

Low level diner style breakfast at best. I’d skip “brunch” and try lunch or later. Eggs Benedict was not so good. Muffin soggy, not toasted at all. Service was friendly and fairly fast.

Revisited this spot and wasn't disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient, food was very good and reasonably priced
Love Rhode's, always sit at the Bar, the Bartenders are great, always smiling and they hustle to provide drinks for the entire place and with the Bar & rest of the seating on the 1st floor and seating outside those Bartenders/Ladies never let ur Beer 🍺 run out, yes the have alot of Beer to choose from..... Food is always great. Go on the website, when they have a live band at night it's really a great night..... So if were riding or out with the GF in the Truck, Rhode's gets my vote.... 👍 💜

Stopped by there Sunday 10/06/24, The place wasn't busy. Female bartender working seemed to be overwhelmed. Had no system or organization and bounced all over the place. We waited, seated at the bar for almost 30 mins. We came in with 2 other couples, and we sat down. Said one tim to us she would be right back. She then served 7 other people who came in minutes after saying that, and that's when we got up and left.
