Horrific customer service. Verified 3x that my family could use a coupon and upon finishing of the meal they denied it and THEN had their owner call us via phone and essentially call us absentminded idiots. She and the owner then changed their words four times over the phone, trying to figure how to save **themselves** money. They were under the impression I couldn’t speak Spanish and tried to use that to their advantage, saying their people “don’t know better” and “couldn’t be blamed” and speaking directly in front of me about us in Spanish. It took over fifteen minutes to get the issue somewhat resolved, and the manager made it clear he would rather than loose customers of over 5 years than lose a couple of bucks. We left unhappy.
Before any of that happened, I was already disgusted by the food. The smoked salmon was slimy, and the sandwich it came on was cold and hard. The guac bowl was flavorless even though I ordered two spice levels lol. The chimichanga was undercooked and I didn’t eat past two bites. The tres leches was actually fairly decent though the cake itself was a bit gritty. My pina colada was sorely disappointing and it was watery…and my waitress didn’t know it was supposed to have alcohol in it.
My family and I will NOT be returning, ever. This “fine Mexican dining” establishment was an absolute nightmare.

Azulejos has the best Mexican food in Smithtown. They are always very accommodating, their food is fresh and their staff is super friendly. We love them!

It's almost like the AC was broken. It was very humid and muggy inside. The food is mediocre at best. My coconut mojito was really just club soda with mint and coconut shaving. I ordered the skirt steak and I was served skirt steak that was already rancid. The moment I put the steak to my mouth, the smell was off putting. I ordered the short ribs as a replacement. They were just okay. The manager was very unaccommodating and said the chef said the steak wasn't spoiled, just over cooked. I won't be returning. Not worth the money. Margaritas in Smithtown just 10 minutes away is a way better experience all around.

The atmosphere, food, service and overall vibe was great! The margaritas were delicious and the food was very authentic. They make the guacamole at your table which is always fun. Reason for the 3 stars was because everyone in my party left there and became very sick throughout the entire evening. Ruined a perfect night.

im surprised this place got such good reviews. it is very mediocre at best. the calimari was overcooked and blaaa. they brought me another order which was better but still not anything great. the avocado fries were ok. the seafood fajita at $35 was overpriced and maybe had one scallop. overall not very impressed w this place. it wasn't horrible (except for the calimari) but plenty of other good restaurants to checkout
Some of the best food and service around. The most authentic vibe and experience and greatest atmosphere around. Couldn't recommend a place higher. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant on Long Island. Not only for all I mentioned above, but because the food absolutely top tier. The best Mexican food I've had in the area.

My family and I went in because it looked appealing from the outside. Once inside we were seated and we ordered. Food was very delicious. We had four different kinds of taco and drinks as well as an appetizer of guacamole and chips. The gentlemen (I think he was the manager), was tending to us. He was very pleasant and ensured our food and drink was satisfying. Good atmosphere, not too light not to dark, many windows so when the sun is in place, light inside is not really necessary. Music was nice, not loud or overly bass like some restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

15 minutes for a menu , 40 minutes for our appetizer, then our dinner comes out and it literally is 2 spoons of Goya box rice which was the most insulting was the bill being 80 dollars no apologies for how long it took for our food . No discount and I'm not cheap whomever said this place is good . I would 1000 percent disagree never again .
