My wife and I had a delightful dinner here during a Thursday evening late last month. When we arrived, we were glad that we had made a reservation, because most tables were occupied already. Live music was provided by a cover band playing popular tunes from a variety of eras: it was well-received by the patrons, some of whom even danced! Several members of the staff alternated serving us; all were pleasant and helpful. Our food - pasta primavera and wonderful, warm bread - was delicious, as were our wine and beer. I look forward to the possibility of another meal here, if we visit the area again.

They forgot the seasoning. First and last time $22 for penne allá vodka with grilled chicken (added spinach and mushrooms)

My friends and I have not been to the restaurant in a few years. We used to have our Christmas parties here on Monday night, July 21, 2021. We were a party of seven and there was another party probably about 16 and the next table for the pasta special night $16.99. It took a while for the waitress to get to us, but she was kind. She bought a garlic knots that were the size of a small pretzel. They were warm but hard not taste. I had salad with my meal with blue cheese dressing. I didn’t feel that great after eating the salad with blue cheese dressing. For the pasta. I had phillepe pomadora . The sauce was horrible. My Husband had white clam sauce it was nasty. The other couples has white clam sauce too it was terrible.
We were not asked if we wanted any more to drink. Had to keep asking the waitress to bring us water. The other group had already left when the time came to pay the bill one of our group members told us how much to pay. The waitress never counted or came back with any change. Come to find out later we overpaid because the one person in the group taken care of the bill made a complete error. The waitress should’ve came back with extra money, never did . We will never die in this place again a. The food is not good like it used to be.B. The service isn’t that good? C. The week you should’ve counted the money and came back and noticed we made a mistake. It was over $100 mistake. I hope they enjoy the extra money.

This is so far the beat pizza i have found in the smithtown/Nesconset area. Take my word. Try the Eggplant slice.

I had the bowtie pasta with shrimp in a pink sauce, and it was delicious! The dine in seating area was small but comfortable. We were a party of 10. The pizza area was busy with a lot of take out pizzas, and it was a Wednesday night.
This was my 1st time at Bonappetito in Smithtown, I live near Port Jefferson, and I definitely will go back again!

Excellent excellent excellent slice of pizza. Good cheese, good amount of cheese, tasty sauce, crispy crust. Pleasantly surprised. I am a real pizza snob. The very existence of Domino's is blasphemy to me. Some pizzerias skimp on the cheese, some use whole milk mozzarella which I believe comes out too "watery" (for lack of a better term), some have dough that's too chewy or sauce that doesn't really taste like anything. This place is now in my top 3 for pizza. Staff is excellent and so is the atmosphere. Warm and family-style feel. Can't wait for another slice!! Getting hungry just thinking about it!!

I have been going to this place since the shopping center was built and it has always great. Recently it has gone down hill. We have gotten moldy bread recently and when they say 20 min it’s more like 2hrs. Very disappointed. Time to find a new place.
