Empire Ginger, is known for having the best dumplings on The Island, and they definitely do, but don't sleep on the rest of their menu, incredible soups, chef specialties dishes, etc. if you're in the Hauppauge Smithtown area, great, if not, they're worth the trip.

Scam! Food is bad, i ordered fried dumplings and fried scallops, the dumplings were a ball of thick dough, and seemed OLD, the scallops weren’t cook all the way through, and when paying they charge more than the price on the menu( after tax) they do not have heat in freezing temperatures so be ready to be super cold inside there, I will never buy here again

If you order delivery you aren’t going to know how this place looks… so here’s some photos to see. Make the decision for yourself. I didn’t eat from here, I picked up an order to deliver a customer. In my opinion a restaurant should be inviting and at least have a decent couch, not one covered with holes and duct tape. It just didn’t look like “hey I really would love to eat here”…. You’d probably walk away as well.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken dish on Doordash. Confirmed and told to go pickup. I get there and the lady behind the counter yelling "too cheap" not going to sell to you, "too cheap!". I paid $16 through DoorDash and this lady not going to give me my food? She kept saying too cheap cannot sell you that food that cheap. Meal costs more. I will never be back to this crap hole in the wall again!

The food is always fresh and delicious. I wish i found them sooner!! They have an extensive menu of some unique items, always consistent and excellent. I am super picky about Chinese, easily in the top 3 best on long Island. I love the 4 seasons with spinach but , all seafood, dim sum is just sooo good! Enjoy this local gem.

Just ordered the pad Thai! I was starving and looking forward to dinner.. it’s inedible. Absolutely slop disgusting. $20 down the drain. Complete waste - never again. Not worth emergency room visit
