This is my new favorite spot for Italian!! As a local from KP we had not been back since this was Sal's, but clearly we waited too long.. Saturday night, got seated in 5 min, great service.. Owner checked in, and opened and poured the wine. Food was spot on, and did not wait long. Chicken Valdostana, fantastic, definitely recommend. Ambiance was cozy, not loud and décor had me wanting to book a trip to Tuscany. No time for dessert, but next time I'm ordering a Sambuca. Not pretentious, not over priced, just a great spot that clearly the owner has a lot of pride in. Thanks, we will be back! *Don't write reviews often, but this one is worth getting the word out.

Their Foccacia pillow was unusual and delicious. We ordered pasta with spicy garlic sauce and olives. Absolutely delicious and again unusual. The service was perfect. Loved it.

Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian and asked for soup without animal broth. And they were more than willing to accommodate.

A local neighborhood gem. We did take out tonight and it's just as delicious as when we are there. My new favorite is the Cavatelli spezzatino. And you always feel like home.

Had Lasagna di Casa, and salad. Omg the lasagna was fantastic, my husband and I loved it. The salad and dressing, and the knots/bread omg, can’t say enough. And the Chef and owner, very nice and personable, 10/10!!!!!!

Having celiac it is very hard to find a good restaurant that offers Italian gluten-free meals worth bragging about . With a knowledgeable staff , great atmosphere, and great Gluten free food I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another meal ! The GF calamari was so fresh , and the eggplant Parm was just like mom’s , and can’t forget about the homemade GF Brownie!!!

It also had great regular non GF food which my daughter and girlfriend loved !!

Do not order meat balls . I felt bad to say anything when the servers asked. The cook should come out and get feedback from the customer. I want it to send it back i just did not have the energy to complain. They need a visit from Gordon Ramsay.

Food was so miserably bad. We came this past weekend for an early dinner, in fact we were one of only 2 tables in the restaurant at that time. The waitstaff was all very nice and mostly competent (The got our shared appetizer wrong). All were friendly, clean and pleasant. We even had the owner stop by to greet us. All good things, but when dinner arrived, the entire experience went so far downhill so fast. The food is really just bad. Italian food is about the easiest food to make well, but these guys totally missed the mark. Some of it was unseasoned, and the tomato sauce was bloody awful. The entire presentation of my dinner looked like something your kids would complain about being served at their college cafeteria. The tomato sauce was thin and orange. It was unpleasantly sweet and had no developed flavors other than the off-putting flavor of its odd sugary base.

Its really too bad because I wanted to like this place since its just walking distance from home, but I could have gotten a better version of the same exact dinner a couple of miles down the road at the Greek dinner.
