The food was great and fairly priced. Disappointed with the hostess. Myself and two friends arrived (a party of 3) and we were told it was a wait of 20 minutes— no problem! It was a busy Sunday. Then, a party of four joins the line behind us. That’s fine. The man of that party slipped the blonde hostess a $20 bill and said “no it’s fine” as she was hesitant of taking it and then slipped it in her pocket. Of course, they were then seated before us and we had to wait for the next table. While the wait was short for the next one, It just put me in a sour mood as we arrived first and it’s a policy of first come first serve, no reservations. As someone who has came many times, this makes me not want to return. Please honor the honor system and not let greed take over. It was very rude to myself and friends who waited patiently and kindly.

The restaurant was empty as we walked in,but the waitress told us to wait at the door next time. We ordered a sandwich to share and was told there was a $6 sharing charge, so annoying but we ordered French fries, to cover the sharing charge. The sandwich was chicken very dry. Never going back!! I don't know what's so special about this place.
First time for my wife and I this afternoon, and we both LOVED Javier’s! She had chicken salad sandwich on toasted rye and I had grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, spinach and tomato on toasted rye. Excellent choices, and their potato salad and Cole slaw were also delicious. Chris was our server, and he was also friendly and attentive. We found our “new place”!!

I came around 11:30 on a Thursday and I asked to sit outside with my service animal… we were told no we are not able to be seated and they don’t allow service animals. We have been coming here for YEARS and I’m very disappointed. There have been multiple occasions that I have seen dogs on the outdoor patio and I couldn’t have my service animal on the patio. There was also another family with a dog waiting to be seated and they were unhappy to hear they wouldn’t let the dog be seated outside, and they had commented they were there a few weeks ago and the dog was allowed and it WAS NOT a service animal.
