Overall cute breakfast/lunch spot. Sadly, day we went it was packed!
Positives: Nice and attentive server. Good menu choices. Overall popular location. Outdoor & Indoor seating.
Negatives: Low ceilings and acoustics made it very loud inside and quite honestly hard to hear each other. Menu prices were on higher end for sandwiches and sides.
Overall: Wish it had been nicer to sit outside as the noise level inside made lunch time conversation very difficult. Also found prices to be on high end for ‘sandwiches’ and just a black iced coffee. With tip lunch for three about $75. Not sure we will be back anytime soon / although as mentioned before seems like a popular spot.

Typical breakfast place, nothing unique about it. Food was decent but basic. Service is somewhat awkward, not an openly friendly atmosphere. I could live without it. Pictured: scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and toast.

I am a medical sales rep and often provide lunches for doctors offices. I had a meeting in Smithtown Long Island and had no idea where to order from and saw that Javier's had great reviews and it happened to be close to where the physicians office was so I called to order.
Like I said I've been ordering lunches for doctors offices for a very long time, (thirty years) and I have never had food as good as what I experienced today from Javier's.

All around Delicious, from food to the service and atmosphere. Everything was a 10/10 so fresh and great quality for the price . We definitely recommend it . On top of that there is enough parking in the back of the Restaurant and some in the front . Also our server was so kind and everyone works together in there you could tell.

Very rude hostess who scolded us at length for seating ourselves in an empty restaurant with no line. We left without ordering.

Positively not worth any stars at all. Over priced is being kind. Had the corned beef hash and I would swear they pulled it out of last nights trash. The potatoes were hard and basically inedible. The place is filthy and service was horrendous and while I was there they refused service to a customer with a service animal. On top of all of this, they only take cash or your debit card. Wonder how the IRS feels about that? There are so many other great places within a few blocks of this disgusting hole in the wall, save yourself the hassle.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had across the entire island. The place is empty yet they won’t seat you even if you want to order for your party in advance. The hostess up front is rude and rolls her eyes speaking to customers.

Stopped in for a Sunday morning breakfast and it was a cozy little breakfast/lunch spot. Tasty omelette but I thought it was a tad pricey for what we got.

My favorites are the croissant French toast and their omlettes. Great food, a little steep but a great place for brunch.

First time trying this place for a relaxing breakfast. Unfortunately I'd give it zero stars. The corned beef hash was terrible and mushy along with burnt tasting coffee and awful potatoes with skin on them. Everything else was ok food wise. It was so hot in there with absolutely NO air-conditioning in 90 degree weather. Who likes to eat while there covered in sweat? Server wasn't great neither, felt rushed out. Either way wasn't staying nor coming back ever! First time was definitely the last!

The food was greasy and not seasoned with much of anything. The corned beef hash tasted canned was too soggy. The potatoes gave me heartburn which is not normal for me either. The only thing slightly edible was the toast
I sat with a group of 9 and service was reasonable but it couldn’t make up for the not so tasty food. Won’t be returning but happy to atleast give it a chance since hearing about it

Javier's Cafe in Smithtown offers a charming and spotless atmosphere. However, the small size can get quite loud as conversations echo easily. The food is delicious, but slightly pricier than similar options in the area serving food of the same quality. Overall, it's a nice place to try for a unique experience, but keep the noise level in mind.
