I cannot say enough wonderful things about Umbra. From the moment I walked in on my wedding day Friday. I was treated with such warmth and care,it truly made the day even more special. The ambiance is absolutely perfect: elegant, cozy, and full of character. The food was nothing short of outstanding every dish was crafted with so much flavor and attention to detail. Chef Marco is fantastic!!! A genius of culinary.
I’m currently on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and believe it or not, I still can’t find food as good as what I had at Umbra. That says everything! Umbra set the bar so high, and I’ll forever remember how special they made me feel on one of the most important days of my life.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

I attended a family member's birthday here last night and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The staff were super professional, remember everything, so polite, and so helpful. The place is beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and found the warm lighting and the decor to be very relaxing. The food was PHENOMONAL and I am still full almost 12 hours later. I would 100% recommend this restaurant and I cannot wait to go back at another time.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend for a special event. Dry aged steak was delicious. Pasta and ragu were perfect. Upscale Northern Italian cuisine and steakhouse.
The food and wine quality is top notch. Service was outstanding. Best authentic northern Italian cuisine on Long Island. Highly recommend!!

We came into the restaurant this evening with 3 guests and were expecting an amazing meal as usual. We ordered appetizers that were terrific! When it came to our entrees 2 were very good - I ordered the NY strip medium rare and it came over cooked. The manager-sommelier asked if I wanted it refired and I said yes and the second one came out medium rare but with no balsamic reduction or seasoning. When I asked Sabrina about it she said she left it off due to the tables allergies (which were my husbands). When we got the check we mistook a double charge for the steak and it was taken care of. All was what we thought was okay. When we were leaving, Chef Marco was at the reception desk shook my husbands hand and told him - he looked at both steaks and they were both fine and we were no longer welcome back to the restaurant. We are long time customers and are appalled by this behavior. One bad meal and the chef did not like us returning it to the kitchen so we are banned from the restaurant. Be careful attending this restaurant and what you to say to staff or do not like. Chef is very sensitive

Highly recommended! Our server, Charles, was extremely pleasant and very attentive. He checked in on us often and was very charming. Charles made our dinner very special by making sure we were fully satisfied and happy with our meals.
We also have to give kudos to the chef who made the steak because it was cooked perfectly and the flavor hit home. I think his name is Ethan because the table near to us specifically requested that he come out so they could praise him for their exceptional steaks as well.
We also ordered a dirty martini, a smoked old fashioned and an espresso martini - all were made very well and we have no complaints.
We will definitely be going back!

Food and service were both exceptional as always. My wife and daughter has to leave after dinner and the server wrapped their desserts to go. I had some time and he told me that I could stay as long as I wanted. I had 2 espressos and some biscotti and left about 30 minutes after they left.

I don’t like usually leaving a bad review, I do care about reputation of the restaurant, it’s a very hard work for the owners , but I think the staff especially the waitress are need to be polite no matter of your appearance ☝️ I came and wanted to try the pasta 🍝 so bad, we were seated in outside since we had a puppy 🐶 I asked them, which is thank you for the front desk Was going to order some food , the young lady showed up and made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome while taking our order she was looking 👀 at us very irritatingly . Like if you have a bad day or don’t want to take order , ask someone else This young lady ruined my whole day I believe this restaurant has such a good food according review I choose to try the food
