4 of us went and no one liked their food. I ordered Enchiladas and the ground meat tasted like it was washed in a disinfectant. The chicken was rubbery. Rice has a weird flavor. There was stale taco chip in the basket that I had to spit out it was so bad. My wife had a vegetable taco and a guac taco and said not good. How do you screw that up? Service was good and they brought us shots after which was nice. I wanted to like this place and based on the reviews was looking forward to it. I just think they use low quality ingredients.

I usually get their sopa de ajo casera (homemade garlic soup). It is amazing, like no place else I've tried. And cheese enchiladas, excellent. (Here and Panchita Grill in Deer Park.) (Their third location, in the next county, closed circa 2008.)

DISLIKE BUTTON? Terrible food. Go to CVS across the street - they have better food in their refrigerator.

We visited early on Sunday afternoon, a slow time. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Our food was excellent, served propmply and well presented. The Quesadilla Tropical was delicious, with a generous amount of cheese, ham and pineapple. My chicken fajitas were generous and served with safrin rice, guacamole, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, refried beans and 4 tortillas. The Arroz con Camarones was huge with more shrimp than I could count. There was more than enough left over for another meal at home.La Panchita has made it to our go-to list for good food & frendly service.Parking: Parking on Main Street.

La panchi-no! Made reservations for this place almost a week in advance. When we got there our reservation wasn't in the book. Luckily there were open tables..or maybe it was unlucky now that I think about it. No air conditioning or rather they just didn't turn it on. The place was dingy and warm inside. Took almost 20 minutes to get someone to come take our order when there were tons of people walking around seemingly lost. The chips and salsa they gave you were meh at best. Ordered a steak with chimichurri and the wife ordered the chicken fajitas. The steak came out tough as leather when I ordered it medium rare and their interpretation of chimichurri was throwing cilantro and cut up onions on top of the steak. The fajitas were the only good part which is why this got a 2 instead of a 1. Took another 15 minutes to get the check. Won't come back here, there are a ton of other places to go that are better.

Pretty nice Mexican restaurant. It was decently priced and got a good amount of food for the price. They also have a nice outside patio in the back. I had 3 enchiladas it said on the menu beef, chicken and cheese I thought that ment mixed in each. Nope it meant 1 thing in each enchilada so definitely too much cheese in a that 1. Considering all 3 of them are covered in cheese.
