We ordered 3 half trays for Christmas Eve and they were all delicious! The meatballs, chicken francese and penne with broccoli were excellent! Definitely will cater from here again.
Best deli around. Nicest people.
Great fresh food ,great staff.
I just went there for a roast beef hero for lunch, which was absolutely delicious, the bread was fresh the roast beef was nice and rare. The service was great friendly environment. Definitely will be back. A+ to me
Love this place, however they just closed up without telling any of us! What happened ? Not fair to your faithful customers...
The freshest meats, best sandwiches around and a friendly, fun staff. It's great to have this place back in full operation again, highly recommended!
Anyone in town is likely familiar with panico’s deli. They had closed for a little bit in 2017/2018 then reopened much smaller , and we live down the street and love supporting local business. We were a fan of panico’s roast beef and chicken salad from the start. We’ve enjoyed some sandwiches and sides from there as well. Now they have expanded and are more reminiscent of how they used to be in 2017. I went there today to purchase some lunch and some dinner for later. For lunch I got a salad with chicken cutlet. I was charged $25 for this salad, which is apparently a catering size that would feed 8 people. Two people could share it at most and could probably still be hungry after. The chicken cutlet doesn’t have much flavor either. When I expressed shock over the price, the lady who works there told me “I didn’t have to take it if I didn’t want to” and rolled her eyes at me when I said “I know”. So, community market is community rude and is also robbing the community.
Panicos is the new caterer at Smithtown landing country club as of January 1 2023. I was informed in Oct of their takeover and that they would honor the previous contracts of lessings. I was told the May date for my daughter sweet 16 would be saved and the contract honored. Mr Russo emailed me a new contract with a Nov 7th signature date. The new contact had no detail just a price and wording about honoring the contract with the previous caterer. I requested a detailed contract and a food tasting , standard practice. Mr Russo refused to redo the contract and said Donato Panico said there were no tastings offered and that he couldn’t “ comply with mydemands “ ( one is a legalContract , one a standard request) and told me they weren’t going to honor the contract. Mr Russo cancelled my daughters party and contract. How cruel can you be?His big problem was email communication , he said if he can’t talk in the phone with people he can’t see doing business with them. Mr Russo it’s 2022. Business is done by email every day. Thanks for devastating a 15 year old hopes for her sweet 16 partyBrides beware. Mr Russo doesn’t deal with women wellMr Russo or mr panico has now started leaving fake reviews on my business page . Outrageous !!!Business oagev
Wow, what an amazing Roast Beef Italian Sandwich. The fresh store made Mozzarella melted in my mouth. The owner was extremely friendly and you can tell that he has passion for food! Previously residing in Queens I was spoiled with an array of amazing little meat markets and I must say that this place made me feel at home! I’m excited to try the kebabs that I also got. I will definitely return!!!
Ham and white cheese. What a great sandwich.

We had Panico’s cater a family event and everyone absolutely loved the food! The delivery and set up was wonderful! The price was very reasonable and the staff is so friendly! I highly recommend them to anyone!
When you want the best quality, this is the place
Great food; awesome staff! In addition, they donate food to a number of local charities, as well as run their own endeavor - "Heros for Our Heroes", providing their Deli's food to our Veterans and First Responders. So, you've got 2 reasons to go: Great food for you and helping to generate funds to supply our local Heroes.
Been to this place a few times because they have one sandwich I like. Anything else I tried there was lackluster at best. But last time I was there I had to walk out because there were multiple employees without a mask on. And one person even came out from the back, who I assumed was preparing the food, without a mask. So I just left.
Unbelievable lunch with the largest heroes ever And the longer I waited the more food I bought! Everything looks great and now I have lunch and dinner for the week
