Amazing Food! Best Thai in the area!

Food was delicious, my coworkers and I enjoyed everything. We ordered lunch specials and it was all really tasty.
However, there were several issues with my order. I placed my order at 12:10 and was told to pick it up at 12:39. I arrived by the pick-up time and was told it wasn’t ready yet. That’s fine — I can usually accommodate for a 10-15 minute extra wait. But my order wasn’t ready until 1:10 — a full 30 minutes after I was told to pick it up, actively waiting in the restaurant, and an hour after placing the order. I saw that it seemed a bit understaffed in the front as there were plenty of tables dining in but just one nice lady both waitressing and packing up orders, with another young man helping occasionally. Our order was also supposed to come with 5 spring rolls as part of the lunch special but we were only given 2.
They seemed to be too busy to answer phone calls as well, as I tried to call back to see if I could come pick up the missing spring rolls, but to no avail. Overall, the food was great but I’m not sure I would ever come back to place another takeout order.
Update: Someone reached out and apologized for the issues today, so I’m glad there is someone considering feedback/reviews. We would like to hopefully dine in next time with Raan Thai as the food was still absolutely wonderful.

Amazingly delicious affordable food! So happy i work across st!!!
Had brought a friend here to try for the first time. Great food and great service. Both the sliced grilled pork over fried rice and chicken pad Thai were flavorful and had nice presentation. Very respectful staff. Will be back in the future to try more dishes!

It took me while to post a review. I recently experienced a bad behavior from the staff of this restaurant. I went to dinner, I didn’t like the food, I have been here lot of time but that day the food not up to it. I ended up not paying the tip, right away the person threw my card on the bench and complained to another lady. Once we are leaving she stopped and demanded for tip, she said it’s American culture to tip, I was never forced by anyone not being demanded for tip in the past from any American restaurants. We left the remaining food and left, while leave the lady who demanded for food, shouting “next time do a take don’t come here “. This is atrocious behavior, I have been in this country for more than 10 yrs never faced this rude behavior that too for tip. Is tipping an American culture?. I’m never visiting this place.

Demanding for TIP, atrocious way, I have been to this restraunt like 50 times in a year. Some time you just don’t feel like tipping, right away you are being demanded to tip, and suggestions to get to go from next time, horrible hospitality.
I’m surprised to see this.
Also is Tipping American culture?
I have been in this country for 10 yrs I have never some one demanding me for TIP.
They are really demanding for tips and showing disrespect to the customers , Quote: American culture is to tip , next time do a take out. This is exactly what they said. Worst service, Never go to this place if you want better service and better food.

I have been here several times, and it never disappoints. The staff is really nice and very friendly. They have a lunch menu and a full menu. I recommend the lunch menu if it is lunchtime as it comes with one spring roll and a salad, which you can replace with a soup. As appetizers, I recommend the Thai fried chicken dumplings and chicken curry puffs. Additionally, I highly recommend the Thai milk iced tea. I tried the Thai milk coffee too, but I prefer the iced tea. For the main dish, I have tried the Thai fried rice (both shrimp and chicken), red curry fried rice, and green curry dish, and they were all very tasty. You can choose any spice level you want. As a side dish, I tried the coconut rice, but I didn't like it. Overall, this place is one of the best I’ve been to, and I 100% recommend it.

Raan is my number one place to get Thai food in Suffolk county. Not only is the food always delicious, the proportions are big and you can customize your level of spice preference. On top of that, service is always excellent. Although they are not halal there is a variety of vegetarian and shrimp options.

Consistently excellent Thai, takeout and eat-in. Green/Red curries and drunken noodles are highlights.

I’m no expert on Thai cuisine, but I’ve been to enough of them , and Raan Thai is the best. Every dish is flavorful and always comes out hot. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. I recommend making a reservation as there are only six tables

My wife and I came here today after her graduation ceremony and we had a wonderful time. I made a reservation online, and I received a friendly courtesy call to make me aware of the time the kitchen closes. They were able to accommodate our party of 5 for an earlier time. Upon arrival, we were greeted positively by the friendly staff. Everyone had a smile on their face while serving us. They waited patiently as we decided what to order. We ordered Curry Puffs, Basil Fried Rice, Thai Fried Rice, Pad Ki Mao, and Pad See Ew. We also received salad and egg rolls with each of our entrees. All the food arrived quickly and tasted both fresh and delicious! We were also pleasantly surprised because the manager gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate my wife’s graduation. We picked the Mango Sticky Rice, which was also amazing. The overall atmosphere was great also. We truly enjoyed our experience here and would be glad to return if we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

We went here for the first time tonight. It was one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in. You can immediately tell the owners take pride and care of their business. The service was exceptional; the woman that helped us was friendly, professional, and attentive even though it was busy. The food was absolutely delicious. Both my husband and I loved our appetizer, main dishes, and dessert! Price wise, I would say the food is a fantastic value. The prices are good and the quality of the food/ingredients is high. There were so many things on their menu that we wanted to try- we will definitely be back! I even grabbed a take-out menu because I know I’m going to want this again soon.
Parking: Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking around the building and a safe side entrance to the lot.

By far the best Thai food on Long Island. The sweet and sour chicken, Tom yum soup, and Thai won ton soup is heavenly and always so good every time we’ve ordered it. My husband and I have ordered here/ dined in many times and the food is always on point and consistently very good!
