A very pleasant experience. A small dine-in Thai restaurant in Nesconset/Smithtown.What makes this place so unique is their attention to “spice level”. We have been ordering take out from here for years, and this was our first time eating there. Enjoying the food straight from the kitchen definitely elevated our favorites! If you enjoy duck, this is a must try! Our second favorite was the fried vegetable dumplings. They were crispy triangles that reminded me of crispy rice! The desserts were a special treat that you can’t get anywhere else.Staff was super helpful and it has a real local vibe. Seems like most there were regulars. Don’t be discouraged by the small dining area. The food is the star and best when fresh!

One of my favorite spots for take-out! Always consistent, decent prices too! Never sat inside so I can't comment

Best Thai restaurant in Suffolk county. You will easily drive by the restaurant as it's a hole in the wall tucked in a small strip of stores with a small sign in the front. The dining space is small but cozy. The bathroom is very clean. The staff is very nice and the service is very quick when the restaurant is not busy at peak hours. They are also freaking with a high volume of to-go orders! But the food is to die for. Incredible selection of food and wonderful appetizers. The wonton soup, drunken noodle and curry selections are truly very savory and tasty. You will not be disappointed here! I have been coming here for over a decade and no other South Asian restaurant compares.

Our party of 8 had a 7:30pm reservation - we arrived promptly and were quite surprised to see the place was busy - we got seated around 7:47pm - the wait just amped-up our appetite and we were NOT disappointed - The food was packed with flavor! We ordered dishes to share - Family LOVES soup - got 2 Large Tom Yum's, which we all polished off in no time. Next was the Chicken Pad Thai, which my Boyz simply can't resist! Our Thai Cuisine Experience is usually incomplete without our family favorite - Panang Curry, shrimp / chicken - these had just the right amount of KICK.We also tried their Peanut Curry - which was on the sweeter side and I did not mind that at all !!The service was pretty quick - and the servers were very polite and helpful - even the Vegetarians' in our group thoroughly enjoyed their Tofu Fried Rice.Overall, it was a fun evening with Family - created lots of memories along with simply delicious food!Thank you Lord!!!, we will definitely visit soon...

I've only ever had takeout from Raan Thai and I'm truly obsessed with it - which I think really speaks to the quality! Fell in love when I lived nearby and still get it every chance I can. My faves are the drunken noodles (add vegetables) and the Tom Kha soup. I love that you can add a side of steamed veg - I'll often order this to mix in with my soup or noodles just to get some extra "health" in. Have had many appetizers that were fabulous as well. Crispy tofu stands out particularly. Peace, love, Raan Thai!

I haven't sat inside, but I've ordered via Uber eats/doordash many times and the food is always superb, the food arrives just as ordered, packed nicely and is warm how it should be. Definitely recommend.

Great food, amazing service, and a comfortable cozy spot. Ordered a ton during the pandemic and went there in person for the first time in person with a large party for a birthday celebration. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the food was scrumptious!

Best Thai food I’ve had on Long Island. Everything is delicious but some of my favorites are the Pad See Ew, peanut chicken and mango chicken.

Tried Raan Thai tonight. I love Thai food and this place made my favs delicious. Nothing stood out but I'd definitely eat there again. Had Drunken Noodles heat #2 (next time I'll try #3). Tom Kha Kai soup was and always is delicious. And chicken Satay from a review I'd read saying it was 10/10. It was good, I don't always get satay do I can't honestly contribute but it was very good. I would definitely recommend to other Thai foodies. I'm sure I'll be back again.

I have ordered twice from here now and ive had problems with both. The first order i had ordered chicken puff with no chicken in it. The second time is just a few minutes ago, and got a drunken with shrimp and chicken. What i got was noodles with just shrimp and no chicken. Please pay attention to the details of the order when you make food.Edit: (I stand corrected)When I ordered through the pickup platform i thought that i could check off 2 meat options at the same time, but when i rechecked you can only do 1 at a time. And for the chicken puffs, I vividly remember carting out the chicken curry puff but the receipt says regular curry puff so i stand to be corrected on that one too. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Nonetheless, the food tasted good.
