The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the service was solid overall. We enjoyed the multi-course dining experience and appreciated the thoughtful presentation. However, the food itself was hit or miss. The bread and cheese course felt unbalanced — we were each given only one piece of bread, despite being served a generous amount of cheese. The burrata was a disappointment; the combination of balsamic vinaigrette and strawberry preserve was overpowering and left an unpleasant aftertaste. On a more positive note, the half chicken and the bolognese were both well-prepared and flavorful. Overall, while the ambiance and service were enjoyable, the food fell short of expectations.

Best steak I’ve ever had! Great atmosphere and place packed at a random Thursday. That’s how you know it’s gonna be good… Prices are regular for high-end place.

On June 28, 2025 we went to this restaurant.
Main course meals were good. However, the main server was terrible. I found a hair on my bread and informed the server to please replace the bread . However, she was too busy talking with other servers. I requested again for the bread and it finally came. Furthermore, our table was next to a wine cooler and other employees constantly bumping into our table while we were eating.

This will be our last time at this restaurant.

My wife and I dined here for our anniversary. This was our first visit. We were seated and given complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch. We were served cheese, olives, and bread as customary there. We ordered appetizers; charred octopus for me and artichoke almafi for my wife. Both were excellent. For our main course I had the roasted duck and my wife the seafood scampi. The waiter and kitchen staff were especially careful with her food selections as we advised them she has a soy allergy. Both entrees were excellent. For dessert we had the crème brûlée which was also very good. Overall a great dining experience and we will be back.

Fancy restaurant where you definitely want to dress up and you're paying extra for the experience of fine dining and walking by a giant block of cheese for grating fresh. What drew us to the restaurant was the wide variety of gluten free options. Not all are listed on the menu, but upon asking, the waitress let us know which dishes could be made gluten free and recommended her favorites. We got the penne romano and white pizza and they were good, but the crust on the pizza was quite burnt. Upon looking around the restaurant, it seemed they all were and it wasn't just the gluten free crust. It was impressive that the waitress could say where each ingredient came from, like the lamb from Australia (I think), but unless your palate can taste fresh ingredients (unlike mine)... It's just a nice story and experience for decent food and drinks. Also, it's very convenient they have their own parking lot and you don't have to deal with the parking situation in Williamsville for similar experiences.

Exceptional fine dining experience at Siena for my pre birthday celebration. We opted to start with a creative craft cocktail at the bar since we arrived a bit early, but seated promptly at our table at the time of our reservation. Ambiance and decor was stunning and comfortable, service was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The menu promises innovation and tradition in perfect harmony, all dishes prepared to perfection! Started with the Crispy Squash Blossoms and the small meat and cheese plate. Entree choices were the Berkshire Porkchop, Paccheri with braised short ribs and Veal Cutlet Milanese! Deliciousness to say the least! If you are looking for an elevated dining experience Siena by far is the best in Buffalo, you will not be disappointed!

I recently dined at Siena, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Despite its promising ambiance, the service was incredibly slow, with our server seeming to forget about us multiple times. The food was lackluster and didn’t live up to the hype. My pasta was overcooked and bland, while the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. To make matters worse, the prices were unjustifiably high for the quality of the food and service provided. I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience, but left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and decided to try Sienna out for our date night on Friday night. From beginning to end it was above and beyond! Met by the owner at the door and told him we had a reservation but wanted to have a drink at the bar. Sat down next to a friendly bar full of people. Two beautiful competent knowledgeable bartenders made us feel welcome and comfy. We ended up eating at the bar because they were that good. Old fashions were perfect, great wine choices and halibut was melt in your mouth delicious.
Thank you so much for taking your jobs seriously it has been a long time since we have had service and food done so perfectly.

The place has a good atmosphere and the food is really tasty, but there were some issues. The menus were greasy and not very clear on the descriptions, and the staff was seen eating pizza while walking around. The restrooms were messy, and if you're positioning yourself as a fine dining establishment, it's important to address these details—greasy paper menus, a lack of attention to restroom cleanliness don't meet those standards. But the food was really good!

The service at Siena in Buffalo was so terrible that I have no desire to ever return. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The staff was inattentive, unfriendly, and seemed completely disinterested in providing even basic service. It took forever to get our order taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. When it did, the dishes were cold and poorly prepared, but by that point, I had given up on trying to get anyone’s attention. The entire experience was frustrating and unpleasant. I’ll never come back.
