We are local, but my first time thereCan't wait to go back. My husband has had 2 stokes and uses a walker..when coming it, two great guys came out to help him in. Everything after that was perfect. We've been going to the Franklin House on a semi-regular basis during summers for several years. Always good quality food, a nice home-town, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.This past weekend we were there for dinner and they were running a Pork Shank with Teriyaki Glaze special which I decided to try. Not from the area, saw this place had good reviews and gave it a shot. Our server was fantastic, she was super friendly & sweet; very family friendly place with a nice view; and the food was delicious. Hope to be back in the area again and will definitely visit here when we do.
