This is a great place to get tacos and a drink. You can choose water view or street view right in the heart of Sodus Point. The food is tasty and reminds me of places we used to go in Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

I do not take lightly leaving a bad review because it can potentially hurt a business. With that being said. This establishment and employees need a lot of work and hospitality training. When we walked in, no one greeted us. We stood there for a good minute while all 3 ladies glanced at us and continued on with their conversation. We assumed maybe we had to seat ourselves and wait on the young waitress. So we did. While sitting at the table the waitress walked by us 3 times and again, never acknowledged us. After 5 min I went back up to the entrance and asked where do we order at? (Maybe I was the one confused) Lady responded that the waitress would be right there. Another 5 minutes went by when she came and dropped off chips and salsa at our table without saying a word or even a smile. She just dropped off and left right back into the kitchen. At that point I wanted get up and leave, but my husband said we should give the food a try since we drove 40 minutes to get there. We should have just left! After we finally order our food, we did get it back in a good reasonable time. I then pretty quickly regretted not just leaving. Food was not worth the drive. I ordered the breaded catfish that was mushy and an ”off taste” to it. My daughter order the shrimp ceviche that had mainly chunks of onions and was bland. My husband was the carne asada and was the only decent plate of food at that table. Tortillas where made with masa that has been sitting out by the heat of the grill or days in the fridge. I wouldn’t doubt both by the sour smell and taste of the tortillas.
Bar was filthy with empty bottles on the floor, beer caps, limes, wrappers and God knows what eles. Bathroom (also lacked cleanliness) and the hallway leading to the bathroom had a sewer smell to it. No paper towels or dryer to dry your hands. It was a train wreck!
I’m Hispanic and my family is from Jalisco. We have worked in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas, NV for many years. I have the most up worth respect for the industry. I know what I’m talking about when I say this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had in a very long time.
What an embarrassment to our culture, food and cleanliness to represent us in that manner.
We will not be going back or recommending this place to others.

While placing my last "takeout" order with Sabor, I noticed they had received a few less-than-flattering reviews, so I wanted to update my previous 5-star review. My wife (a Texan who grew up on Tex/Mex) and I have enjoyed their food over a dozen times, both takeout and dine-in. The food and service are solid - great flavors, always fresh (I can tell the Guacamole was always made minutes before I picked it up). While I really enjoy their tacos, the Enchiladas, Burritos, Tostadas, ,Fajitas, and Sopes have all been excellent (yes, I have personally had them all). This is not fine dining, and to expect that experience is misguided. For dine-in, they have created indoor and outdoor spaces where you can enjoy their well-prepared food and drinks, but don't expect luxury. In terms of price, they are similar to Chipotle with twice the proportion - you will not be hungry with their serving size. Many of the poor reviews have been by people who don't typically make reviews on Google, but notice the Google "Local Guides" have, generally, written much more favorable reviews of this valued establishment in the community.
Parking: Dedicated parking spaces, municipal parking lots adjacent and across the street from the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.

The food has absolutely no flavor. What little "meat" I had in my burrito was fatty and rubbery, just inedible. The lettuce tasted good, but if I wanted a salad I would've ordered a salad.... Second year open and their second chance. Still NOTHING has changed since they opened. I won't waste my money there again.

Nice little taco spot in a great location in town. We did take out and it was about a ten minute wait time. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Burrito bowl was a good portion size. All in all a good spot.

The service was less than acceptable, walked in the door to someone playing on their phone and didn't even greet us. I approached her and asked for a table for 2 and she seemed annoyed. The place was empty so our food didn't take too long but had absolutely no flavor. I had an asada burrito. The rice was soggy and flavorless and the meat was way over cooked and not seasoned at all. Made in Mexico in Sodus is 100 times better.

Food was cold inside and the rice with weird chunks of carrot and peas was very watery. The quac could have been better with way less tomato chunks in it. . We were the only two there which should have been a red flag but decided to give it a try. The young man working seemed very bored yet neglected dirty tables. We tried it and will not return. It won’t make it without some attention to the food and atmosphere.

Very average in all areas. Had the burrito bowl which was overpriced ($13.75) and very processed. Service slow, atmosphere loud.

Great food set up needs some work but definitely coming along! This is a great addition for the town and a welcome change from the regular establishments.

I struggled to give this restaurant a 3 but ultimately I’m hoping that my experience was a fluke and/or they can get their act together, because i think theres potential here. My wife, son and I went on a Saturday night in late June with the bay cranking in full summer swing. We were surprised to find the restaurant pretty dead when others were jamming. We were the only people sitting on the patio next to the bay front. There was one family in the restaurant and one other on the front patio. My biggest complaint in a nut shell is that we waited 48 minutes for our food. And when we got it, it was luke warm (at best). Fries were stone cold. On top of that, we ordered chips and guacamole that we never ended up receiving. At about the 30 min wait mark, I went inside to buy a second beer and ask if we could get our chips while we waited. The woman at the counter said “sure, I’ll bring them right out”. Well, long story longer, we still didn’t have our chips and guacamole even AFTER we were done with our entire meal, over an hour later. So upon leaving I went up front to ask for a refund on the chips we never received. The woman at the counter said they would be right out of the fryer and they would put them in a to-go box. I politely declined and asked for my 7 dollars back. She seemed annoyed by that. Well, try waiting for 48 minutes to be served in an otherwise dead restaurant only to eat luke warm food and not get your entire order. I find that annoying. That said, the food was tasty. Authentic Mexican…yes….if you don’t mind it luke warm after a long wait.
The food was delicious and very hot, the people were extremely nice, and if you want a place to sit by the water without feeling crowded this place is excellent. I got the whole patio to myself to watch the boats, and my burrito was so big I took the other half home. Inside the restaurant is bigger than it looks as well. The price for all that was more than reasonable, like generously so. Also that huge burrito came with french fries. ?
