So first off the Soup of the year is lick it off your arm good, I know, I dropped some on my arm and i licked it. Im not proud. The brisket sandwich is very good, my wife loved the smoked prime rib French dip, thats a go to for her at restaurants and she said it was one of the best. We can't wait to try the bacon we bought as well. They have like a dozen varieties of bacon.

My first time there and the food is amazing. The menu is not very big.
The workers were great the food was great and even though they're not supposed to provide actual serving to the tables the staff brought our food out to her picnic table. I love that you can eat outside.

I ordered a 1/2 pan of pulled pork and a 1/2 pan of brisket for a family picnic. Our guests loved it! I definitely recommend The Saltbox Smokehouse.
I ordered the Brisket and bacon Mac cheese, the meat was very moist and had an excellent smoky taste I highly recommend also tried the wings and Brisket cheesesteak and wow they were amazing with really good flavor, the place is small but very clean with 9 picnic tables outside

Spent $75 here and sadly it wasn't really worth it. I smoke my own meat and have been to BBQ places all over the nation. This place was hit and miss. The brisket was pretty dang good, we had no issues with that. But the pulled pork was sadly pretty nasty. It was dry, flavorless, tasted like it was week old and the portion size was extremely small for $8.50. The bacon Mac and cheese was ok. The salt potatoes were good. The kielbasa was really good. And the baked potato with pulled pork and all the trimmings was pretty gross as well. Probably because it had the stale pulled pork on it. So overall everything was just ok. Definitely not worth the price especially since the portion sizes are so small. Can't justify the expensive price tag to return. I'd rather go to Dinosaur BBQ where everything is amazing for about the same price.

Restaurantji Recommends
I had the special, the burnt ends sandwich, with baked beans, and a salad, plus a small mac and cheese. Everything was dry. The cost was $ 25.00 with a 6 dollar tip. In my opinion, it was not worth it. Usually, the food is good, I was disappointed and thought it wasn't too expensive. I'm not sure I'll go back.

Perfect hidden gem for the locals but we luckily found it coming back from a soccer game. What a score indeed. Delicious fresh cookings and tasty beverages.

The food here is amazing. I don't travel very close to here usually but I will take a longer route to hit this place up from time to time.
