“Finding the coffee bean i like can be a task. I enjoy Tanzanian Peaberry and my sister in law put me on to this place. Had my first cup today and its great. Now, the reason for 4 not 5. Unfortunately, they charged me a different amount then what was posted. Sign says 2lb bag 25.50. I was charged 28.00. I encourage proper pricing and signs for transparency. Recommended and will return if they continue to carry TP.Updated to 5. Cant actually take a star after drinking this brew. Its great. Thank you for offering it.”

“I have yet to be disappointed! Reminds me of a Mexican taqueria stand where you order and are left on your own to eat in peace. It’s not your typical “sit down and be waited on” type restaurant. “As a Texan who was forced to move to New York less than a year ago, finding restaurants. that have elidable food has been impossible this state does not believe in flavor or normal food. Where chicken and waffles is something, I could get at any fast-food restaurant, is now a foreign concept up here. I found this place by the grace of God, it gives you that home feeling. Collard greens a amazing, ya man bowl top notch, and the Nashville chicken although I would love more heat the flavor is on point. This is my favorite restaurant in NY! :)”

“I had the brisket, salt potatoes, and the baked beans, my partner had the two hand pulled pork sandwich, and the bacon mac and cheese and also the salt potatoes; hands down it was the best BBQ we’ve had in NY in ages!!We pulled up at 4pm and beat the dinner rush, the service was awesome and our food was out to us within 10 mins (they were clearly ramping up for the dinner rush, as told by the near nonstop pre-order calls they took kept rolling in).Definitely worth the drive. We’d driven past a bunch of times on our way back to Syracuse from a Rochester roadtrip, this time decided to pull a U turn and see what’s up. Super glad we did, and we’re definitely coming back and bringing our friends and family.Parking: Lots of parking, couple minor potholes to avoid but it’s par for the course.Kid-friendliness: There were kids menu options and they did great asking the kids who came in after us what they wanted.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up from the parking lot to the door with handrails on both sides, good grade, wouldn’t be a challenge to push a wheelchair up. Bathroom is ADA compliant.”

“Went here with my dad for the first time! We always drove by wondering how the food was or if there was actual sit down eating. Food was pretty good. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was BIG! Chips and salsa was good too, salsa alittle on the watery side but still yummy. Lady was nice and food came in a timely manner. We stayed and talked for a little and she was friendly. Quiet (when we were there) little mom and pop restuarant. Seating for all party sizes available. I like and support small food places like this. I will be back for sure! Recommend to anyone in the area”

“Typical rural bar vibe walking in but everyone is very friendly. Best fried pickles I've ever had. I ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac but the server heard me wrong and thought I said wrap. Again, one of the best wraps I've ever had. I'm happy for the accident. If I wasn't just passing through, I would be a regular here.”

“I haven’t been here since it’s been Stone 8 until today - although I have had pizza brought to me from there (which is DELICIOUS!), and it’s really nice. They’ve redone everything since I was last here and it was a great place to do a birthday party.The family enjoyed bowling, and also pizza and soda. There were additional options, as well. It’s a nice setup, and as I mentioned earlier, we love the pizza. We just had cheese and pepperoni today, but other times my son brings us a chicken with country sweet sauce and it’s my fav! I heard from other locals today that there’s another highly recommended flavor which is the Stone 8.We’ll definitely be back and it’s nice to see money invested into some of these places that are staples of the towns. ??”

“Went to the Sodus location for my son’s birthday. They’ve always gone to the Weedsport location and wanted to try this one for his day. There were 6 of us and 3 children, two 2 yr olds and a 4mo old. Needless to say we sort of took over the place. The bartender treated us like family and the kids like her own. Regular stopped in and had great conversation and he took to the kids who were treating the place like they’ve been there many times. Great beer and cider, good prices and wonderful people. “All in all, everything was good. Had chicken tenders with two sides. I got a good amount of food. The only thing was collard greens were ok. A little more seasoning. Also, Mac n cheese was a store box. Not homemade! Business on outside looks funky. Inside looks really nice. Another thing is there only open Friday and Saturday. I will be back to try other dishes. Really nice staff and food was hot.”

“Cute winery near Chimney Bluff state park. Don’t miss this small woman owned and run winery if you are in the area or feel like a pretty weekend ride. The owner takes pride in her offerings and has a selection including some semi sweet to drier varieties.”

“Ok so full disclosure, if I look a bit wiped out the family decided on a 3 mile hike through Chimney Bluffs State park. Woof I am tired. We stopped for lunch here at Pier Fifty-three for lunch. Is puppers are welcome outside on the deck overlooking Sodus Bay. Pretty much a self serve bar. Water bowls are by the front door ATM. Family had a seltzer and Yuengling and then Chicken Nachos and well done Plain wings. They seemed very happy with their choices. Pops was jammin to some Roll with the Changes (it was an embarrassing eyeroll from me). 4 paws from moi!”
