“Went to the Sodus location for my son’s birthday. They’ve always gone to the Weedsport location and wanted to try this one for his day. There were 6 of us and 3 children, two 2 yr olds and a 4mo old. Needless to say we sort of took over the place. The bartender treated us like family and the kids like her own. Regular stopped in and had great conversation and he took to the kids who were treating the place like they’ve been there many times. Great beer and cider, good prices and wonderful people. “This was an amazing find while driving through! Pete was so friendly and the atmosphere of the place wonderful. I would have stayed for much longer if I could have. “We are new to Central New York, and The Cottage Inn is one of the very few "local" places with great selections, great food & the best service. Make sure you make reservations or you may have a wait, this is the local hot spot and is packed full on Friday & Saturday nights.We have tried many of the specials, and the seafood platter & prime rib are our favorites. “I haven’t been here since it’s been Stone 8 until today - although I have had pizza brought to me from there (which is DELICIOUS!), and it’s really nice. They’ve redone everything since I was last here and it was a great place to do a birthday party.The family enjoyed bowling, and also pizza and soda. There were additional options, as well. It’s a nice setup, and as I mentioned earlier, we love the pizza. We just had cheese and pepperoni today, but other times my son brings us a chicken with country sweet sauce and it’s my fav! I heard from other locals today that there’s another highly recommended flavor which is the Stone 8.We’ll definitely be back and it’s nice to see money invested into some of these places that are staples of the towns. ??”

“I had the brisket, salt potatoes, and the baked beans, my partner had the two hand pulled pork sandwich, and the bacon mac and cheese and also the salt potatoes; hands down it was the best BBQ we’ve had in NY in ages!!We pulled up at 4pm and beat the dinner rush, the service was awesome and our food was out to us within 10 mins (they were clearly ramping up for the dinner rush, as told by the near nonstop pre-order calls they took kept rolling in).Definitely worth the drive. We’d driven past a bunch of times on our way back to Syracuse from a Rochester roadtrip, this time decided to pull a U turn and see what’s up. Super glad we did, and we’re definitely coming back and bringing our friends and family.Parking: Lots of parking, couple minor potholes to avoid but it’s par for the course.Kid-friendliness: There were kids menu options and they did great asking the kids who came in after us what they wanted.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up from the parking lot to the door with handrails on both sides, good grade, wouldn’t be a challenge to push a wheelchair up. Bathroom is ADA compliant.”

“Went here with my dad for the first time! We always drove by wondering how the food was or if there was actual sit down eating. Food was pretty good. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was BIG! Chips and salsa was good too, salsa alittle on the watery side but still yummy. Lady was nice and food came in a timely manner. We stayed and talked for a little and she was friendly. Quiet (when we were there) little mom and pop restuarant. Seating for all party sizes available. I like and support small food places like this. I will be back for sure! Recommend to anyone in the area”

“Bright and clean gas station/convenience store. I stop here often on road trips as it's a great place to get gas, use the bathroom, and get whatever drinks or snacks I need for the rest of the trip. Hot food is available (the cheese pizza is surprisingly good), as well as every cold drink you can think of. Grab and go foods like egg salad and deli meat sandwiches. There is a large hot drink station with coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and tons of creamers and ways to flavor your drink. On Fridays in October, they are offering one free coffee per customer. Yay!”

“The best hotdog, hamburger food stand. Great people. It's like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. We drive 45 minutes to grab Zweigler hots for lunch or bring home Italian sausages. The Asiago chicken also is so good. The bender fries and salt potatoes as a side is a must.”

“Upstairs tenant " a karen" came in complaining to customers about a sticker on vehicle because her child's behavior got him suspended from school.... by disrupting paying customers , she'd have been given a warning about potential eviction.Other than the upstairs tenant, excellent.”

“Ok so full disclosure, if I look a bit wiped out the family decided on a 3 mile hike through Chimney Bluffs State park. Woof I am tired. We stopped for lunch here at Pier Fifty-three for lunch. Is puppers are welcome outside on the deck overlooking Sodus Bay. Pretty much a self serve bar. Water bowls are by the front door ATM. Family had a seltzer and Yuengling and then Chicken Nachos and well done Plain wings. They seemed very happy with their choices. Pops was jammin to some Roll with the Changes (it was an embarrassing eyeroll from me). 4 paws from moi!”

“I have to give PaPa's place 5 stars. We order from them at least a couple of times a month. The food is always good and they deliver to me in Savannah. I gave it a 4 star on the atmosphere because it's not a sit down kinda place. Don't get me wrong, you can sit and eat there if you'd like. It's more like the Chinese joint ya get it to go most the time. Keep up the great work PaPa's Place!!..??”
