Tried it for the first time today. The chicken curry was good but the meat was still red inside needed more boiling. Chicken patties and bread was good will try again.

Just bought a simple doubles and soda. Owner was very nice. Didn’t really taste the tamarind sause very well or there was just very little, but nice tasting pepper.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into the store.

This bakery is named after the chef’s grandfather, Dan. We heard so much about it we had to visit while we were in NYC.What an experience - tasty, clean, variety. The chick Pattie’s were moist and flaky. The cheese rolls were flaky and cheesy.I highly recommend this bakery for your one-stop-shop!

This bakery brings SHAME to Guyanese people. I purchase $30 dollars worth from this bakery and I had to throw it all in the garage. I came all the way from Fort Lauderdale and I was in the neighborhood and I decided to stop at this bakery for Bake and salt fish. I ordered 3 Bake and saltfish, 1 fishcake, 1 prone, and a bag tennis roll which the cashier claimed it was homemade and when I look at the bag it indicated it came from a bakery in Brooklyn. The bake and Saltfish had no taste and were watery, the saltfish was tasteless, the tennis roll was dry, and the prone was full of ginger and cinnamon. If I didn't take a flight back to Fort Lauderdale the same day I would have demanded my money back. Don't go to the Bakery you were warned. This place made Guyanese people look bad and ruined my taste buds.

The best chicken patties in the area, no cap. So fresh, and packed with chicken that is seasoned to perfection. Cant wait to try more things. Try their chicken patties asap!!!

After all the great reviews I’ve decided to give this place a try … and it was a waste of my time. Nothing special here. Now it’s obvious most of these reviews are being written by family and friends .
