I have been going for 20 years, I also go to the popular ones, such as Singhs, Sybils, and Trincity Roti shops; I test all the roti shops in the area. This one is small, but they cook food from the San Fernando area in Trinidad, which the original roti and doubles were made when the Eastern Indians arrived in Trinidad 200 years ago. Guyanese and Northern Trinidad shops are good, but you know Trinidad food from San Fernando has a special touch. Enjoy their food, and ask for pumpkin with the dal puri roti, and the Dal soup, which all the bus drivers and workers run in quickly during the bus stop, it only takes a minute to buy. Trini to the bone! Hope this helps.

This place is disgusting! All the employees sit outside, smoking, drinking, harassing the other patrons businesses for parking infront of their roti shop. Theyre harassing and disrespecting people of other ethinicity who are not Guyanese, which shows they have no sense of community. Because We are hispanic, we were called Mexicans who dont deserve to be in this country and were told to never park in front of their store. All this because we parked in front of their shop while we used the other establishments within the strip mall. Maybe if they paid more attention to the how dirty and disgusting this establishment is and properly clean it, the last of their worries would be if we parked in front of their disgusting shop. And to be completely honest, this all came from the owner and her son, who as business owners should have their priorities corrected and shift their attention to all the cockaroaches found in the kitchen and THE FOOD. DO NOT EAT AT THIS DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT. NOT ONLY ARE THEY DIRTY AND HAVE ROACHES, THEY ARE RACIST AND DISRESPECTFUL, WHO THINK THEY HAVE SELF ENTITLEMENT BECAUSE THEYVE BEEN IN THE SAME SPOT FOR YEARS.

A small walk in shop with a variety of Caribbean dishes like curries, fried fish, dhal etc. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Honestly I come for the hot dhal mostly.

Definitely go here if you want to find bugs in your food while eating! I am genuinely so disgusted and will not be returning. I’ve always bought roti from here and never had an issue. While eating my food, I tore into my roti and noticed something dark. I thought it may be remnants from where they cook it but I zoomed in and seen LEGS!! I mean are you kidding me? I lost my entire appetite for dinner. The last photo you can visibly see the bug is stuck within the roti. I never thought i’d be so disappointed by this place.

This was my first time here and I absolutely loved the doubles the flavors was great. I went ahead and bought a small plate of curry chicken and fried rice to try something else off their menu. When I opened the plate of food it smelled like the rice was burnt but they still used it. Everyone knows that distinct smell of burnt rice. As I courtesy I called to inform them about it not to even start an issue but one person took the phone from the initial person was speaking to and started yelling how they very busy and no one complains and people like the food, again I was calling to inform as constructive criticism is necessary in any busy. That second individual then yelled come back for your money and hung up the phone on me. I wasn’t even aggressive. The young lady I dealt with was absolutely welcoming and soft spoken. I don’t know which raga muffin they have dealing with but that’s not customer service. Again I didn’t want to get a money back even though it was my money and I was not happy with that smell but don’t speak to people like that.

People are okay but the restaurant is dirty saw a roach after ordering my food, got a sorrel stepped out side the restaurant to notice the cup was dirty and the restaurant refuse to give my money back for having juice they selling in dirty cups. Im so mad trinicity was closed that’s the only reason I end up getting terrible quality food and service.
