Silver Star really means GOLD STAR!!!!That's what this establishment serves, pure and delicious GOLD!My Aggie had catered an order for the holidays and I had the pleasure of stuffing my face and belly till no return. I love me some good ole Guyanese home cooking! Fried Rice, Fried Chicken, Dhal Puri, Curries! You can tell that the aunties in the kitchen really doing it up right for the community.Drop whatever and whichever place you're thinking of and make way for a Gold Star experience and cooking!

First time having eating at a Guyanese restaurant, and I played it safe by ordering the chicken curry with a huge side of rice. It was delicious, perfect amount of spice! Girl behind the counter was lovely and patient. My dad had the corn mutton bake, and I wish I had gotten a bite, but he finished it before I knew it! Coconut juice was delicious! We couldn't have picked a better place to eat for our first time in Queens❤️

Fish cake and Puri! THE BOMB! If you've never tried it, this is your sign to do so- it's the only thing I've ever bought from them. But, I'm sure the other food items are just as good.
Stopped in here yesterday to grab a coffee... saw the food selections and decided to give them a try. I ordered a beef cook up with a side of j*** chicken. The beef cook up was very delicious and the j*** chicken was flavorful.... I'm glad I stopped in because honestly I don't think I ever would've ... now I'm hooked on their beef cook up lol... best cook up I've had in a long time... very impressed !

Such good food. I rarely stray from my usual, but everything looks really good. Usually get a piece of fried chicken and a piece of j*** chicken chopped up with some mac n' cheese on the side.

Had the bake and saltfish..we also ordered the curry chicken. The bake itself was delicious, however the saltfish was too salty. The chicken was greasy.
