Decent sweets store, served great and fresh chai. They may not speak a lot of English, but you will get your order, most of the time the owner is there so you can request to speak to him. They have a large Punjabi supporting, and other people supporting them from other ethnic groups— they have a great standing with people around regardless of the language barrier. If you want fresh food, come early, don’t come super late. If you have an issue, approach their owner, he’s easy going and always willing to help. The entire staff is humble and their kitchen crew is amazing. Cakes are expensive for sure, but there’s other cake stores around to check around if you’re looking around. Besides that, you won’t get decent service like this around rockaway blvd, they’re the go to. Their lunch combos are priced great, and food is abundant. Ingredients are clearly fresh, each time you come there’s usually a shipment of veggies being brought in. You want something with no sugar in terms of your drinks, just ask them, they’ll make you whatever it is sugarless.I believe they did better than their old owner, there’s always a crowd bustling in and out. Overall, great place— if you have issues just approach the owner, you won’t be disappointed the crew actually helps people out to have a great experience.Vegetarian options: Great selection of desi vegetarian options, you’ll get your protein fillings in regard to rajma combos (bean and rice) or simple veggie based foods.Dietary restrictions: All here is vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: There’s many dishes for kids, whether that’s finger foods (desi style) or nice drinks.

Sweets and food is delicious, but the service is HORRIBLE. Language barrier is a problem and they will lose customers because of this.

I got sweets here with my friend of mine who celebrates Eid al-Fitr. I don't have any pictures because even though they may have looked nice, the taste just wasn’t there. The small bar with a peanut butter taste was there but thats it. The doughnut like dessert was bland and not sweet. We got a few boxes with about 6 different desserts and i personally wouldn’t go back since it was nothing to rave about.
