I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot clean consistently. Pricing is reasonable and they serve large portions.

I love the food here. Always my go to when I do not feel like cooking. Feels like I am eating some great home cooked food. I've tried many places around the area but this has always been my go to and will remain that way. Their J*** flavor is amazing. Negative reviews make no sense when it comes to this Jem!

The food here is amazing! I tried the j*** lamb and j*** chicken combos and they were both great. There is a wide selection of sides all cooked fresh. I've been here twice already and I'd imagine I'll be here many more times to come. Highly recommend! P.S. All the people working there are so friendly too! Makes the experience all the better.

Man! I wish I took pictures but unfortunately i have none, the food didn't stand a chance! I ordered on ubereats. I ordered the j*** chicken quarter leg and macaroni pie with a small Corn soup. Everything was Devine, I must say. I ordered garlic sauce and bbq on the side for j*** chicken but I knew I didn't even need it from the smell of the chicken alone. Wow. I ended up just putting the sauce on my Mac pie because that's just the type of person I am lol. All in all the chicken was super fresh and flavorful, perfect amount of spice. The macaroni pie was nice and moist! The corn soup was still nice and hot when it arrived, perfect amount of corn and carrots, was looking for a lil dumplin but hey it's still good. I was upset because I saw that they had mango chow, i really wanted to try it but it was sold out. Maybe next time!

Best BBQ Chicken and Lamb but the best part is it's Halal!!!! It's so hard to find great tasting halal bbq chicken, so happpy I found this gem of a place! Their Mac and cheese pie and mash potato is delicious with the chicken or lamb!

This is an amazing take out spot for great Caribbean/BBQ dishes , the food speaks for itself , tender , juicy and flavorful BBQ and j*** meats and fish done right. The sides are fresh and very tasty , lots of options. Secondly the service is outstanding , courteous and friendly staff. The place is an easy walk by if you don't know it but once you've eaten here you will be a return customer. Thank you and keep up the good work.

This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. when I want to go to a superb meal, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. superb and varied food and a rich cuisine.great staff, and good vibes. In addition to that, the cost is decent. I suggest this place with pleasure.

The food is ok. Not particularly bursting with seasoning and flavor BUT this can be as good thing as it definitely leaves room for you to flavor /season your food how you want. Today i got the BBQ chicken with fried rice & plaintains.. with a side of potato salad. The potato salad was $7... and i thought it would be almost like my uncle's. It is ok.. but i will add some brown sugar or some syrup =) .. But listen. I might order again because this is much better quality food than fast food places
I'm not sure how sad I would be if I heard that Avenue BBQ Hut is closing. I. Love. This. Place. The bbq lamb is outstanding and I have not eaten anything like it before. I love the macaroni pie and the potato salad too, but the bbq lamb is definitely the gem here. I always ask for extra green seasoning on top as well as bbq sauce. This is one of my favorite spots of all time, and it's halal! This is great takeout food, not really a good spot to eat in. My tip would be to call twenty to thirty minutes before picking up though because the bbq lamb takes 20 minutes to prepare.

Went there recently and must say service and food was excellent..no complaints from me and i will be back for sure..heard new management is in town from the employees..keep up the great work..its a huge plus that their prices are very decent as well..

The food was whatever. I couldn’t eat the chicken some of the parts where pink. Mashed potatoes and corn were decent. Chicken a bit spicy for my taste.
