It was even better than I remembered it to be, last weekend I visited NY and this spot was the only place on my wish list. When I was living in NY, I used to eat from this location atleast once a week. The guy was very friendly and he got my order correct, he gave a generous portion all around. If you are a fan of Halal cart food, this is certainly the place to go.

Got: falafel over rice, chicken and lamb mix over rice (each comes with a free drink) Price: $8 for all rice dishes, $7 for all sandwiches Value: large portions for a decent price , free drink included Great halal truck outside of a CVS on Hillside. The lamb and chicken is flavorful and comes in generous portions. The rice is fluffy and hot, full of cumin flavor. The rice outshines the meat in my opinion haha. Falafels are slightly dry and crumbly. They aren't fried upon order but rather premade and heated up on the grill. Not outstanding but still tasty and good for a vegetarian option. The white sauce brings the rive and protein together, tangy, and creamy. It compliments the oiliness of the meat and rice as well tempering the spiciness of the red sauce. Get the red sauce on the side or ask for it sparingly because it's hot! Overall: My to go spot for Halal. Generous portions, great flavor in the rice! Ask for the red sauce on the side. Won't disappoint for $8 :)

If I could have given 0 stars I would.The food is horrible and the customer service is even worse.The owner does not know to speak to people and the food is tasteless.After packaging the food, he threw on the counter. Never going back!!!
Raised the prices on everything 2-3 dollars at thier Union Turnpike location. They now have the same prices as the restaurant 2 blocks down. Prices at the Hillside Avenue truck half a mile away stayed the same.
