These guys are a bunch of crooks. I order a half a chicken with rice for take out. It wasn't even a half a chicken. I called the guy and told him this is not halflchicken. I order from other restaurants and it's way more than this. And there chicken with rice is the most expensive. I would never come back here again.

Came to Richmond Hill, New York, looking for some authentic Guyanese Chinese food and this restaurant failed miserably. Everything was tasteless and bland. The pepper sauce was the only thing that made the food edible. Don’t waste your money here! The only good thing was the server was pleasant.

Wanted to stay out for a while and catch up with some friends. It was just 5 of us in the place and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. It's not a club, it's a lounge and restaurant there was no reason for the music to be so loud. We had to cut the night short.

Used to be decent but between Dec/Nov 2022u0026 March 2023, prices skyrocketed, $17 for fried rice u0026 pork? 20% mandatory tip - which isn’t the worst concept u0026 it’s understandable, but the service is subpar u0026 it’s really worth a 10-15% tip. u0026 smaller portions now….? We liked it because parking was never the worst, there was always an open table u0026 prices were affordable for the food. Not sure what happened. We went a few times a year but now, no, we won’t be back…

This Asian Guyanese fusion restaurant is the only one I’ve been to in queens and I don’t need to go anywhere else! This is my second time coming back to this place and both times the curry goat was delicious. I came here with my wife and I and a friend. We ordered a banga Mari fish fry and a beef and pork chow mein for the table with a Carib beer and cream soda on the side. I would love to come back to this place again.

I had such a horrible experience here. I ordered a chicken fried rice, which I normally good. I've ordered lamb pudding here, but I wanted to do a one-stop shop all. Let me tell this, will never do that again. So, I ordered my food and drove 35 mins to get home. Opened the container of the lamb pudding, and the odor almost made me throw up. I was so upset because it's not like I live close by. I called and spoke to the might manager. I believe his name is Devin, and I explained to him what happened. I asked him since I don't know when I will be in the area again and my grandma lives like 5 minutes away. If I can give her my credit, he assured me that was ok. Now, I will mot order something that was not good for me and think it will be good for someone else. Come the next day, I called and spoke to the day manager, his name is David. I explained my situation and how I spoke to the night manager and would like to order a chicken lo mein and have it delivered to my grandma's house. He was like, he can't do that because the lo mein is more money. I told him I would pay the difference, I don't mind, he's like well we can't take yourcard over the phone, I'm like wow. He finally spoke to the night and told me he would do it, but the delivery guy called out and will do it the next day and will call me to confirm everything. I am still waiting to hear from him. I just went a week later and collected my money. I really don't give bad reviews, but I have my own business and know how much owners appreciate it, but bad reviews I really try not to do. I like to solve the issue, but they leave me no choice. It's such a shame, I drove 35 mins for their food to garbage it. I wasn't going to collect my money, but I can feed a homeless person with it and be blessed rather than give it them who are unprofessional, liars, and unreliable.

Ryan was very kind and hospitable. Edward the manager was also very polite and engaging.The food was quite delish and the place was extremely clean.Will highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again. Would recommend to ask for Ryan whenever you come to the Nest! Very genuine young man!
On 1/15/23 I ordered 3 lamb black pudding and they actually put 11 1/4 inch pieces in 2 of the containers with 2 sauce each. Plus 2 chicken fried rice (very hard dry rice) for a total of $71.89. I’d say that it’s highway robbery

Nice atmosphere- unfortunately, that's going to be the only positive point from my experience. When I got there at 10pm, the place was pretty empty. There was only 1 other person waiting for his food.I asked the man behind the counter if the meat is halal. He said, "everything is halal except for the pork". I thought that was a little odd since I don't recall going to a restaurant that sold halal meat AND pork at the same time. I also noticed there were no mentions if "halal" on this maps reviews of this place.I took a chance and proceeded to look at the menu. The waiter says the food will take about 30 minutes to make. They had some good items on the menu and I settled on the Ox tail and my friend picked duck. The waiter had really disappeared and nobody was around to take our order. How strange!The man that was waiting was getting really frustrated too. He was telling me he'd been waiting for over 30 minutes for his order. My friend and I ended up leaving the place. I took some pics of the restaurant because it looked decent. However, I couldn't experience their good. Perhaps it's for the better...

This restaurant does not even deserve one star but unfortunately, I have no choice. My family and I ordered some food today from this place after a long time, because the last time we ordered, all we did was blow our noses after eating. Nevertheless, we decided to give it a try again.Well, it came, I cannot find the words to describe this 'blow nose' food; we placed 4 orders and all of the orders were horrible. It would take me too long to go thru the description of every meal, but I am so very disappointed. if they needed a cook, they could have hired me. My order was dhal, rice, and shrimp curry, my curry had so much water that I thought it was on a marathon, it was running with 2 huge pieces of potatoes, the shrimp was overcooked, the dhal, was white and tasteless. My husband's order of fried rice and j*** chicken; the chicken was dried and definitely microwave re-heated, the fried rice had absolutely no taste, I thought maybe I had Covid19 and had lost my taste. My mom's bunjhal lamb, to say the least, was horrible, with the same white-looking dhal. My son's chicken was overfried, dry and re-heated and had a sauce on top of it, mind you 'Fried chicken and chips' oh wait a minute, the chips were cold and soggy. Come on man, people are spending their hard-earned money and sometimes feel like a treat but gets a 'TRICK' instead.Shame on the NEST RESTAURANT, we would never, never make a purchase from them again. Disappointment. Lots of pepper in food don't give flavor and don't assume that everyone is drunk!!!
