THE CLAM CHOWDER IS WORTH THE STOP!!! Loaded with clam, rich like it's supposed to be. Service was great and the place was clean. Great stop if your wanting great Clam Chowder.
My husband wanted oysters, and Captain Jack’s didn’t disappoint. We also got the scallop po’ boy with fries, the short rib grilled cheese with a full side of slaw, 2 Jack & Gingers, a Southforker (gin cocktail), and a glass of Channing Daughters Rosé. Everything was fantastic. I wanted the grilled cheese to be great but was prepared for less. Well, it exceeded my expectations. Great find on the South Fork - a bit out of the way but food and service were phenomenal.
The Mahi-Mahi Reuben was to die for and the Tuna Crudo and drinks were awesome, the bartender was not frugal.
Overall, the menu had a lot of unique and interesting choices.
