Been a fan for years!! BUT!!!! Tonight doing take out was a nightmare!!!! Got there early so food would be hot ! Live 5 minutes away! Cold when I got home had to Micro!! That's not even the issue! Problem is!! $$$$ That's a given ! You go there knowing they're insanely $$$$$ ! ! But when you pay $6.00 for a side of bread and get " 1" slice of bread the line has to be drawn somewhere!!?!!??! That is close to a 200% mark up on a loaf of bread!!! INSANE!!! Very upsetting and disappointed in one of if not my favorite restaurants here!!!

the food was delicious! Oysters were very fresh and full of flavor. Brussel sprouts were perfectly roasted. We had three different pastas all were masterfully prepared. Not too heavy and full of flavor. Our waiter was lovely and offered great suggestions. It's a little pricey though even for the Hamptons but I would still return and highly recommend
The prix fixe menu was outstanding, with a number of wonderful choices. Our fish was delicious. It was well prepared and the portions were more than adequate. The wines were perfect! Our server was terrific. He was friendly, attentive and offered us several suggestions. We love coming to Dopo Argento for both the prix fixe and regular menus.

VA Bene! The bread comes out in its own warm cover...like it is ready for sleeping. Adorable. Everything was delicious. So good we returned the next day. Their red sauce is delicious on its own...We did not need a reservation as it was February but I would suggest making them in season...now. A little gem of a restaurant. Simply delicious and easy. Solid bar scene....

We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. He made some great recommendations. We had the Frito misto and the crab salad. The avocado creme for the Frito misto was delicious. The atmosphere was calming and beautifully decorated. Will definitely return for dinner next time.

Prix Fixe Thursday is excellent value. The restaurant is, in my opinion, one of the best in Southampton. I have had several meals and all were delicious. It seems impossible to have a bad choice. The staff is attentive and very polite. The tables are small but I like the small bistro vibe.

We tried this restaurant last night and decided to try the price fixed menu. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive, the portion sizes were good. We will definitely go back again. Though I do wish their drink prices were a bit less!

As always food and service was wonderful. The reservation was change from 6 to 4 and 5 people attended. They clearly had a way to accommodate us but did not and 3 people had to squeeze on the booth while other tables for 5 only had 3 people seated. It really was an easy fix.

As my wife and I walked in we were greeted with smiles. This spot is super romantic. We were shown to our seats and the italian accents we heard made everything feel like we were off to a great start. Our waiter was not pushy at all. We glanced at the menu and immediately ordered the bread basket. We shared some apps and we each got an entree. What I loved most about this restaurant is the waiter didn't change his tune when we didn't order any alcoholic beverages. I'm in recovery and my wife is pregnant and sometimes, well most of the time , the waiters change when they notice there check isent going to be big and the tip won't be big. We always tip 35% and this service was spot on.

Have eaten at restaurant many many times and food is always good. Last night we were 6 for dinner and when ordering we requested a pasta course for the 3 men but the pasta was served with the entrees. Also, 1 order for 3 was brought to table, after an order and a half be split in the kitchen for the 3 of us. The pasta was re-served as individual portions but obviously could not rectify it being served with entrees. Management was very unapologetic.............most disappointing
We had dinner from the prix fixe menu. The portion was great and the food was outstanding. Our server was terrific and made our meal memorable. We've eaten at Dopo Argento before and it has never disappointed!!
