Lady was very rude on the phone. I asked for brown rice and she yells on the phone. First I didn't understand what she said, then she yells NO BROWN RICE!!! I said geez, you don't have to be rude. Then she said white rice, YES OR NO!!!! I have never ordered anything that a person is so rude. No personality whatsoever. Pick up my order, nothing to brag about mediocre....just okay. I miss China Garden !!! She didn't even deserve a tip from me

Absolutely love Dragon Garden! I don’t know why it has such low stars. The food has been delicious and consistent the last 20 years. Every time I visit from the West Coast, it’s one of my first stops. The egg rolls are incredible, the wonton soup is perfect when you’re sick, and the chicken and broccoli is always savory! The owner Michelle is also incredibly kind and sweet. I can’t get the same delicious flavors anywhere else.

I have never had a take out place call me to pick up my order immediately after placing my order 7 minutes before. The woman who called me was unpleasant and questioned when would I arrive to pick up my order. The hours posted on their website state that they are opened until 9:30. I ordered a meal at 8 :45 and at 8:52 I heard from the take -out jeez (the woman was harsh and unfriendly) when I arrived there were other customers waiting..So what was the big rush and why so rude to your customers.
Headed out East and wanting Chinese food, takeout or eat in. Slim pickings east of Nassau County, but we were determined to eat Chinese food especially today (10/23) our anniversary. We were headed to Montauk, so we thought we had a chance. Several Chinese restaurants are closed on Mondays, but that didn’t seem to matter much because very few had greater than 3.4 reviews. Finally we found this one which seemed to be a winner with many positive reviews. So my first question is who’s writing the reviews? I ordered boneless ribs luncheon special, and my husband ordered wonton eggdrop soup with a side of a small order of the boneless ribs. I specifically asked for fatty meat ribs which were rejected because the meat is stored all in one place and they cannot pick thru it for select cuts. Nonetheless, I thought I’d still have a shot.The takeout was very busy which was promising.This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! The ribs were like eating dry leather strips. The pork fried rice was tasteless and stale. The soup was just okay. So I ask again, who’s writing the reviews? I can only guess that the many clientele were there because the volume compared to price ratio was favorable, never mind that literally, they’re the only game in town. NO PRIDE!!!
