The restaurant was really nice, food really good, but they had a guitar player that was so loud you could not speak to the person across from you. I would only go back without the live music, the DJ was very good after.
I visited in September off-season on a Friday night. Food is ok, probably over seasoned. Desserts are over-the-top. I miss Red Bar Brasserie the French brasserie (“Big Red”) formerly in the same location.
As a longtime resident of Southampton and, a frequent guest of the Red Bar, I was intrigued to see if Enchanté could pull it off… They did! From the energetic atmosphere, the moment you walk into the establishment and are warmly greeted by the superb hospitality of the general manager, Corrado, who will pour you a glass of champagne while he meticulously fillets a Dover sole, everything about this place is a winner!!
