Ordering process is a disaster. They forgot my order, and made me wait while they filled other orders. Didn't do anything extra as an apology. I had to take someone else's order that was sitting there for a while and it wasn't as fresh. Disaster.
Absolute textbook discrimination of my celiac disease. Asked if something as simple as fries were gluten free and was laughed at. People have no idea how difficult it is to manage life with a gluten insensitivity and the last thing anyone needs is to be laughed at for something they can’t control. Check your employees.
Waited over an hour for two lobster rolls. Watched multiple people who ordered after me get their orders. Doesn’t matter how good it is, that’s inexcusable and exceptionally bad service. You’re also waiting on the side of the road and the eating area is hot and gross. There was no charm here and they need to learn how to manage their order handling process. Will not return or recommend.
Service hear sucks!!! It says they are open until 8pm, lie! It's 630pm and they're not open.
Shinnecock Lobster Factory produces easily the best lobster roll I’ve had in the Hamptons (it’s not close) and is up there with the best in Maine. The size is generous (easily double most others), and importantly you get whole lobster chunks, not the shredded lobster with celery found in so many places out here.
Seasoning is also on point, and it’s served in a high quality brioche bun that’s been griddled with butter — possibly a bit sweet for some, but worlds better than the dried out buns that are typical of other rolls out here.
The only ding would be on the chips — a bit soggy during our visit, but it doesn’t matter when the lobster is so good.
Absolutely worth a visit!
Food very good. Service wait time was a disaster. Waited 20 minutes and was skipped over by higher numbers. They lost my order then took my own ticket/receipt to fill it. In the 30 minutes wait for 2 whale lobster rolls, 6 parties ordered and got their food. No apology, no offer to comp anything, and when opened, the food in the box was not what my wife ordered.
While planning for our stay, we bookmarked Shinnecock Lobster Factory as a MUST try. This place did not disappoint one bit!
We ordered a Classic Cajun Mayo Shark Size Lobster Roll, Lobster Fritters, and a Crab Cake Burger. Everything was super fresh and tasty. The lobster was juicy and well seasoned and the Crab Burger was stuffed and well made. We definitely look forward to coming back for lunch during our stay. This is indeed a MUST TRY, you will not be disappointed.
Yesterday we had a girls day from work and went to get some lobster rolls. OMG 😲 it was the best of the best. We had a variety of lobster tacos, fritters, shrimp and fries, Cajun lobster rolls, lobster bisque. Everything was made to order, fresh and absolutely delicious 😋 💯. Worth the trip from Hempstead, NJ, Greenlawn and Mastic. Will go again.
A nice little roadside stand run by the Shinnecock Indians, nice place to stop for lunch. I got the Shinnecock clam chowder (similar to Manhattan) with large pieces of fresh clams and my girlfriend got the butterfly shrimp platter. The clam chowder which came with a side of cheesy bread was excellent and my girlfriend's butterfly shrimp with french fries was good but they over fried the shrimp other than that it would have been perfect. 31.00 for both meals with tax, a bit pricey but a great lunch.

Update: Three years later I finally make it back, and this place is still rocking! Everything was just as good and fresh as I remember. ? They updated the place too. It looks as hip! (Our absolute favorite is the Hamptons Lobster Roll, whale size.)
Original: “First winter opening” says the lovely lady in the window. YEEEESSSS!! Just my luck!! Lobster was cooked and dressed to perfect on my buttered roll, and the lobster mac and cheese was not overdone in the slightest - which is completely atypical. This place rocks!! ❤️? What a find!

I love mac-n-chesse and for over 50 years I thought I have had some of the best in the world until yesterday. August 30, 2024 I experienced the best, most delectible mac-n-cheese ever and to top it off the amount of lobster they put in with it was completely fulfilling! Shinnecock Lobster Factory hands down does lobster the best my family has ever had and we are going back today to try the salmon burger and of course more of the mac-n-cheese!!! Much appreciation Strong Bear Medicine of the Massachusett Praying Indians

Been coming here for years. It's a bit pricey now like everything else, but once in a while this is a real treat.
