Lunch outside Sliver Lining Diner eating a scrumptious meal sitting at a immaculate picnic table.Lunch outside Sliver Lining Diner eating a scrumptious meal sitting at a immaculate picnic table eating a fist class lobster roll! The real McCoy, perfectly toasted lightly buttered bun, knuckle and claw meat, light and delicate. Fries (served with ketchup (and mustard, who does that, I know, no one! Because I eat my fries with mustard) and herbs. Fresh slaw.Guacamole that’s better than Rosa Mexicano (which makes fresh at table). Two Crab cakes that we’re so well prepared sitting on a dollop of fresh corn that are complete Yumminess, The best I’ve eaten since my favorite at Hobos Fish Joint (now closed in Coral Springs, FLA).A strong Rum punch, an Albita chilled beer and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. All personally prepared by chef/owner Eric. Clean as a whistle, masks-on, staff didn’t miss a beat!AND the joint was clean and sanitary 150%both bathrooms were too! Please, GO! Support it, try it, you’ll be thanking me later!Bon appetite

Decided to stop in here cause who doesnt love diners! And it looked really nice inside from the outside. My girlfriend and I walked in, and the host looked us up and down, pretty judgemental and unwelcoming id say. Bad first impression. Then I ordered a burger and my girlfriend got the mac and cheese and when i bit into my burger the paper was still attached from the cheese slice! The manager was nice enough to comp our meals but this was not a good experience and we will not be returning.

Great food great Vibe. Why such a low rating. Didn't write that they were closed for the winter. Should be more aware of their social media account. It is a must go. But won't change my rating until they are more on top of their hours listing.

WHAT A JOKE! This is not a Diner! How dare they insult the hard working Diner workers of Long Island by calling themselves a Diner! Who do they think they are closed all day Mon-Thurs and only open limited hours on 11AM Friday to 8 PM Sunday? The prices on their non-diner menu are OBSCENE! This place is geared towards some millionaires in Sagaponack , and even they need to check their wallets before entering. The menu is purely laughable. The people leaving 5-Star reviews are not believable. Just a warning to the owner - I have read every single review about you and your despicable staff. Change your ways now or the good people of Southampton will make sure you get shut down! Never in my life have I heard of such garbage! NERVE!

Do not be fooled, this restaurant is only a diner in name and design. On my most recent visit I ordered the fried seafood platter and a side salad. I half expected the diner version of seafood deluxe what I received was far and away the best fried seafood platter I’ve had on Long Island. The scallops were super fresh, calamari was tender and the fries tasted like potato not freezer. Layer in the little extra touches like lots of fresh lemon, a homemade tarter sauce that had real flavor and a few sprigs of deep fried parsley leaves made this dish a home run.

It's not a diner, they have diner in the name but it is a small menu with limited options. Also how can a diner not have ranch. Sad to also have NO FREE REFILLS on soda. They fill the cup with ice and put about 3-4 sips of soda in and charge an arm and a leg. Disappointed that I came here before the new owners and loved it, now not worth coming back.

So this place is usually from what I see very packed, drove by on our way to Hanks Pumpkin Town looked cool decided to check it out after. As soon as you walk in it's not your typical diner. It's Chic, funky, retro and vibrant. That yellow is a signature look. Staff is very friendly but the wait was e4xtremely long and for that it is the only reason I gave a 4 Star. Once we received our starters it was amazing freshly made humus work warm pita bread, fresh made lemonade... The soup of the day clam chowder, YUMMY with a hint of bacon.... Main selection was the Salomon it was moist and delicious esp paired with the Lentils was perfect.

Don't let the aesthetics fool you! We went here to grab dinner after pumpkin picking and it was a horrible experience. We waited over an hour for our food to come and our waitress never acknowledged us. Another waiter asked us if we needed anything else, not realizing that we never received our entrees. We ended up leaving without getting any of the entrees. Before we left, they tacked on a meal to our bill that we never received. This place is far from elevated dining. A total waste of money and time.

Expensive tasteless food. Lethargic hostess. Sloppy service. A disappointment on two visits. Loved Bay Kitchen Bar so thought this version would be great. We were very wrong. Skip it.

We visited on Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. Jerome our server was excellent as were the French toast, eggs and bacon we ordered. Food was fresh and delicious, especially the blueberries. We were told we would have a 15 minute wait, but we were texted in 4 minutes and seated in a nice large booth. The decor is light and airy and the bathrooms are spotless. We went back on Monday for lunch which was also great! So glad someone turned this place into a great option for casual dining in Southampton. Thank you!

After a long drive, we stopped at the Silver Lining Diner for a break and a bite to eat. Are we ever glad we did! We ordered margaritas and an order of chips and guacamole. The margarita was delicious, hit the spot and I felt the vacation was starting. Guacamole was delicious and chips fresh and crisp, I highly recommend. I ordered the striped bass special. Beautifully prepared fish and it came with roasted potato wedges. We loved our server, Scott - he was super friendly. I like the look of the place, cheerful and fun. This place is our new family tradition!

The Air Conditioner after repeated requests from several guests could not be adjusted to a comfortable setting; made dining somewhat unpleasant. The bathrooms and the the entire facility was immaculately clean with updated fixtures. The selections of dishes was a bit pricey; however the presentation and preparation of the dishes selected was very tasty to my palate. We would recommend to family and friends
