Not impressed. Poor service, very poor quality of food.

The ice cream is just delicious. Definitely order a large, so as to be able to try as many flavours as possible! The only disappointment for me was that after enjoying my lunch, I was asked to pay, THEN go to the ice cream counter to order ice cream separately. Had it been busy, I would have understood, but since it was not, it would have been nice to have continued my meal with dessert in a booth. Otherwise, the service really was lovely and a nice stop after visiting the Parrish Museum.

Never been to a restaurant, let alone a dingy little diner, that sat parties containing one person extra over the party that had been previously waiting, and this happened twice. I get trying to make more bang for your buck, but when the whole place is old booths and a dirty counter, it’s sort of a bad business practice to turn away, and blatantly disrespect customers. You don’t think it’s strange to show your customers you seek out more money from each of their tables? Three can come right in, but one or two? Left to stand in ice cream corner of this “diner” until the teenagers working there decide you’re up. You go one day, you have a great time and an amazing meal. You go the next day, you’re met with juvenile workers turning you away because you won’t be buying more food than the people still getting ready at home. Regardless of that, eat here if you want that typical overpriced Hamptons food they all try and recreate that you could’ve made a million times better at home.

Wow, that was not a good experience. The hashbrowns tasted like the oldest nastiest grease I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s still lingering on my pallet. Service was also really terrible. I sat for at least 5 minutes trying to flag somebody down to get my check. It’s very expensive for the low quality ingredients they’re using.

Had breakfast here. The '68 breakfast sandwich on a roll is a 10/10, surpassing what you would get in the city. Reasonable prices, solid service. Cash only. If that sandwich were a woman it would look like Sydney Sweeney.

I worked across the street at Sea Reality before I owned Southampton Reality. I ate there with both girlfriends as the years past. Grill Cheese and the burgers and fries are real home made food that is worth the price. I cook at home with the same items. 📺🎙️🎥🎬

They made me one of the best chocolate shakes I've had in a long time

It was a treat to be able to take my kids to the same place I used to go to lunch as a kid!

The atmosphere is unchanged in such a way to preserve its charm! Be sure to bring cash as it is a cash only restaurant. Don’t skip on the ice cream or the onion rings!

Nice hometown feel, not like you are in The Hamptons. Food was good and reasonably priced. Ice cream excellent.

Bad attitude and arrogant ownership. Unlawful refusal of a service animal. Owner insisted we sit outside, I politely reminded him that the service animal may accompany its handler wherever the public is welcome.. He insisted that he was familiar with the law and still refused service. No problem here, there are literally hundreds of places that do abide by the law to get breakfast from. Now he will have to face the legal ramifications of his actions.

The only things that this place has going for it are the cute place and it's ice cream. We got the special Mediterranean salad which comes with a Mediterranean style dressing. And a root beer float. The salad was ok but nothing special. The root beer float tasted like it was a mix of coffee cola and root beer all mixed together which was just wrong. The ice cream however was actually very tasty and creamy.

Nostalgic venue with great service, lively lunchtime atmosphere and very attentive staff. Considering its location, the prices were extremely reasonable. Enjoyed the burger and lime soda a lot (bought bottle of the syrup to take home)
