I've been going here for years. Love their service and the comfy booth seats. Their soups in the winter always make me happy too - cream of tomato is my favorite.It's worth noting that the diner food menu can be limited for low carb diet, but that's on me hahaha.Vegetarian options: Plant-based burgers available and clearly marked on the menu. They have a good selection for salads and sides, too.

Ate there almost everyday during my school days of elementary and jr. high school... cheeseburger, fries and vanilla coke. Pay on the way out and grab a pack of baseball cards... never will forget those days.... late fifties and early 60's.... those were the good

I really wanted to love this place but it was a mixed bag. The lime Rickey is as advertised and I loved it. The kids got ice cream, mint chip and mint oreo, which was good but nothing special. The peach milkshake was super watery and light on flavor, would recommend getting it extra thick. The part that was most disappointing was the service. We weren't given menus at first and then no waters. Waitress never checked in at all and I ended up going to the counter to get my check. We were one of no more than 4 groups in the place so I was surprised by the lack of service.

This restaurant is an institution in Southampton. I’ve been going since I was a little kid with my Grandpa. Every time I come back to SH to visit family I go. The breakfast egg sandwich is amazing. I highly recommend going to check it out and get a lime ricki!!!

Love this place. Great for breakfast and lunch. No dinner hours. Home made ice cream is the best. Not very expensive. No credit cards.
It was 4pm with closing hours posted as 4:30, we were informed there was not any food to be served,only shakes. We ordered a shake as they swept and mopped us into the entry. They were rude and the place was nothing to get excited about.We were definitely disappointed. We usually love these types of diners and the nostalgia.

Excellent BBQ burger was delicious, avocado club fresh and excellent like a spread, gyro flavorful. Highly recommended!

*** CASH ONLY *** Very charming and great staff. Your experience may vary. This place has excellent potential but not as it stands. Be warned. The food quality for my visit was poor at best. Onion rings were the best item I ordered. They were made fresh. The burger tasted like it was from the king kullen bargain frozen section. The kids chicken tenders were unbelievably terrible. Processed chicken formed into tender shapes and breaded. Not sure why the kids chocolate milk tasted off but I can only assume it was as if they used dollar store chocolate syrup. The worst part about our experience was being seated next to the toilets. While management keeps the bathrooms very clean the use of strong deodorizer was too much. I could taste the scent with every bite. This turned my stomach and left me feeling that even in the post covid world of hyper inflation that anything over $10 per person was too much. Pricing aside the use of exhaust fans in the bathrooms creating negative pressure and adding a swinging door before the rooms would go a long way to a more positive customer experience.

If you love an old timey spot, this place is great! The space is charming, the staff is friendly, and the ice cream is delicious! Try the lemon custard ice cream if it is available. Heads up- it’s cash only.
