She was incredibly flexible with our budget and helped us craft the perfect wedding menu, ensuring that everything reflected our style and vision.
Our tasting with her was lovely, and she carried that same warmth and professionalism through every step of the planning. On the day of the wedding, Riva went above and beyond — helping us smooth over a few small bumps (our own doing!) with such calm and patient energy. It made all the difference.
The staff were also incredible — so kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. They even assigned me a personal attendant who quietly looked after me throughout the night in the most thoughtful, non-intrusive way. It was such a small gesture that made a huge impact on how relaxed and cared for I felt.
The tables looked absolutely beautiful thanks to Riva and her team. They truly brought our vision to life, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of the care and attention that went into every detail.

Grace and Grit was the perfect choice for our backyard wedding in Southold this September. Riva was particularly helpful with everything and was very flexible to our needs and questions since we weren’t exactly sure everything we needed and wanted at the beginning. She helped us think through everything. Riva also recommended a Leanne’s Cakes in Comack which was THE BEST wedding cake any of us had ever had. On the day of, Riva and her staff were professional but laid back, sweet, and helpful. The food was amazing (and very adaptable/accommodating to dietary restrictions) and the staff were great at checking in with our needs and timing throughout the day.

We worked with Grace and Grit to plan a private dinner for our small wedding party. The food was amazing, and the Chef's were both great to work with. We had passed hors d'oeuvres (mini lobster rolls, tuna tartare, duck lettuce wraps were truly stand out dishes). The sit down dinner felt extremely professional and was so tasty. We were able to do a nice family style meal with a very upscale feel to it. We would highly recommend for an elopement.
In addition to the stellar Chef team, working with Erica for the planning process was great. She was responsive and able to answer whatever questions we had. She really seems like she loves this type of work, and it comes through in speaking with her.
