I think this place would rock if it played up the Grateful Dead theme. The inside is rather plain. Outside of the name and that they sell Long Island themed Dead shirts, there isn't anything else playing up the Dead angle, which I think is a mistake.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grateful Lee Deli in Southold, NY, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This hidden gem of a deli left a lasting impression on me, thanks to its attentive staff, generous portions, and reasonable prices.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warmest smiles and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The staff at Grateful Lee Deli goes above and beyond to ensure every customer feels welcome and appreciated....
Can't seem to get my breakfast right any morning and I was under the minimum for a credit card by a little and the girl was snotty telling me I had to buy something else. I was eating breakfast and lunch a few times a week until this event..the food is not that great and I'm not sure what they substitute mayo for but it's not the same.
