What a beautiful setting that transports you. The staff was incredibly accommodating, charcuterie board was fantastic, and the ability to play some bocce with your favorite glass of wine in hand was top. We even were treated to a mini tour and photo ops!
Delicious! Maryann was a gracious host. The smaller cheese plate was enough for 4 people.
Excellent. Great atmosphere. Outstanding service provided by Chris. She explained everything and she was very patient. Great food, wines, and cocktails!
Their old world red wines are my favorite on LI
Great wine, but terrible service. Service is extremely slow and the older woman that served us was extremely rude. We asked multiple times kindly for water but didn't get a glass until we got the check.
This is my second time visiting Mattebella and it is still wonderful. I was worried, as a friend who lives nearby says she received bad service every time she went. However, I was pleased to see the service was great. It does seem like it may be slow if they are very busy, but we visited on Fourth of July weekend and it was fine. The wine mixed drinks are FANTASTIC and great if you want something lighter or are just tired of straight wine. The woman who served us said they squeeze all the juice for the mixed drink themselves!
While we did not get to order a cheese board, they too look amazing. Some parties near us got them and they look big, so possible worth the price. The grounds are gorgeous and offer many different sections to sit at depending on what you like. We sat on some couches in a shady area in the back. It was very peaceful.
We will definitely be coming back for a third visit next time we are in the area!
Mattebella Vineyards has complex structured red wines in a beautiful setting with a friendly staff. One of our favourites!
We were basically shunned away. Was not an inviting atmosphere. We were only allowed to sit outside in the cold rain. We got unimpressive gritty wine after 45 minutes . I got a 2nd degree burn from the hot wine and when i said something to the blonde, her response was “oopsie”. Only reason i am giving 2 stars is because their charcuterie boards looked impressive (unlike their wine)
Best vineyard on the North Fork!
Beautiful vineyard with lovely outdoor spaces for wine only or wine and food tastings. The food pairing tastings are worth the splurge for the adventure of it alone and will leave you delighted - just make sure you book at least 48 hours in advance. The staff is wonderfully pleasant and accommodating but can be a bit slow when time to bring the check so keep this in mind if you’re visiting on a day where you have other stops to make afterward. Or better yet just make this your last stop. It’s even more beautiful at sunset.

Arrived on site no one around. Found worker asked where tasting room was went there, it's a tool shed with no one there. No inside seating so left. No reason to ever go back.
Excellent wines and staff Mathew was very helpful and knew the wines, would recommend for a great time with someone special or those special friends to relax enjoy tasting the wines and some snacks food and great conversation with those who you like to have around you!
Very Chill
Food and service were good. Bring cash, they charge a 4% surcharge for credit cards.
