We absolutely adore this spot. You feel like you’re invited to your good family’s garden and you are treated that way—The owner is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend getting their mixed cheese board! Absolutely decadent. Plus their bubblies are sooo yummy.
What a beautiful setting that transports you. The staff was incredibly accommodating, charcuterie board was fantastic, and the ability to play some bocce with your favorite glass of wine in hand was top. We even were treated to a mini tour and photo ops!
This is my second time visiting Mattebella and it is still wonderful. I was worried, as a friend who lives nearby says she received bad service every time she went. However, I was pleased to see the service was great. It does seem like it may be slow if they are very busy, but we visited on Fourth of July weekend and it was fine. The wine mixed drinks are FANTASTIC and great if you want something lighter or are just tired of straight wine. The woman who served us said they squeeze...
