Maroni's is such a gem in the middle of Southold. The Sushi Tuesdays are INCREDIBLE and the truffle grilled cheese is to absolutely DIE for. Kristen & Amber are 2 of the best on the North Fork and if you've not had their meatball pot yet I IMPLORE you to do so. And this is coming from someone who doesnt eat meatballs outside her Nonna's kitchen.
I can not express this enough but make reservations and enjoy the fact that the place deals in cash/check/zelle only and that the prices on the menu reflect tax & tip so you can know exactly what you're spending in advance.

From just walking in and being greeted like you came to a relatives house to the whole experience. The food is absolutely the best I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back. I took the ferry from New London to Orient Point to attend a wake and needed lunch. Google led me to Maroni’s. Everything about it was fabulous. A very sweet, accommodating, and attentive staff, delicious sushi with a side of chicken parm and this crazy good marshmallow chocolate dessert made the visit complete. Loved the vibe and you can tell it’s jammed with patrons at night. If you’re in Southhold, NY, make sure you save your appetite for a wonderful meal and atmosphere. Thank you, Kristina and staff for a memorable experience.

Me and the person I went with got diarrhea after this place. It ruined our evening. I’ve had better food at a brewery. If I didn’t get so sick I’d give it 2 stars because the service staff was very nice.

My wife and I LOVE Maroni's Restaurant. It is our very favorite place. Their cuisine is fabulous! We love the entire menu. Recently, we tried their 'Sushi night' on tuesdays. So delicious. We did their tasting. I guess there are quite a few differences from their main restaurant. Million dollar chip had only a speck of caviar (saw pix from other location where you had a nice dollop of caviar). Kani salad needs less salt. We didn't have sushi or Peter lugars bacon. We didn't get grouper either. I think other things were missing. And their prices are a bit higher at $200 pp. Overall good but a little disappointed. Was very very thirsty the remainder of the evening from the salt

I was highly disappointed with my dinner experience recently with friends of mine. My main issue was the service that I received. After our order was placed-they brought out all our entrees and forget to bring out the appetizers. After we expained this to the waitress they had a attitude and instead of giving us our appetizers they became confrontational. This was extremely unnecessary and placed a damper on our dinner. On top of this when the waitress brought out the bill she threw it on the table-she knew it and gave a sheepish apology. When you include your tips on the cost of the meal-which I am sure are heafty I would expect at least average service. Needless to say when the food eventually came out it was mediocre at best.
