The almond croissant is truly the best ever and the coffee is also 10/10

Everything you need to start your day! Almond croissant is divine! Avocado toast, egg sandwich! You can’t go wrong! Indoor and outdoor seating. Food can take some time but it’s well worth the wait.

Good food, very expensive and usually sell out quick (not to say they make a lot, they don’t)

However from previous seasons I did notice their breakfast pastries shrunk… IN HALF. But their prices stayed the same. Little bit of a rip off. Guess that’s why happens when chef payard is out opening a new restaurant? Standards dropped a little

This is a really great place to come in Southold for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee. Everything is homemade here. My favorites are the chicken salad and GAZPACHO! I will take pictures the next time I go and post them… These two are to die for. Also, the blueberry muffin with thyme was delicious and also the spinach feta danish. Run! Don’t walk to Southold General‼️

You have to bring back the veggie quiche. What happened? Why did it change so much?? Please bring back the original recipe. This one is nowhere near as good.

Charged me $14 for a sandwich marked $12 on the menu. In the most ordinary supermarket or shop, places without any of this place's pretensions, they know they have to honor the sticker price even if they think it should be higher. not here--instead of giving me the $2 back they offered to refund the whole price and give me no sandwich. and beyond the incompetent and ignorant quality of the service, the food here has declined. won't be coming back.

Not sure if Francois Payard is still involved but this place has gone down in every way. We have been coming here every late spring/summer since it opened, portions used to be generous and everything on the menu was truly delicious, which justified the prices. Service is just awful nowadays and everyone is so rude. It’s evident no one has ever worked in the food/customer service industry and there is a lack of training. The portions are so tiny vs the exorbitant price increase, and the lack of taste is what’s really a shame. I heard similar views from people walking out after lunch as well. We will not be coming back

The General Egg Sandwich with Smoked Salmon was tasty. Quality ingredients.

Add it to the do not go list. Overpriced, rude customer service and absurd portions. Order a smoothie for 15 dollars and they give it to you in a tiny kids cup… they also give you a buzzer and if you order more than one thing they buzz you over and over like you are a dog coming to fetch rather than having the whole order ready when they buzz you.

Coffee, smoothies and a pastry for 45 dollars..

When you order the employees don’t look you in the eye and are rude when you ask a clarifying question. Won’t be coming back and we live locally in Southold

Excellent quality food, pastries, bread and great coffee. We are lucky to have them on the North Fork ??
