The worst Haitian food in New York. They have fritay on their menu they don’t even serve all the items that supposed to be in a Haitian fritay. It’s just bad business bad food don’t come here at

I would totally rate the zero stars if I could if you want Haitian food do not come to this restaurant at all I ordered a Haitian free dye and I didn’t receive nothing. I ordered meatballs. The meatballs weren’t even cooked I ordered plantains,AKRA,marinade, patat. I didn’t receive anything from my order. Truly fancy buffet is not an example of what Haiti is. I told you recommend tropical restaurant in Spring Valley. That one is totally better. Totally disappointed worse Haitian Food ever! This store really needs to be reported to HR

Good spot. This place might not be everyone's cup of tea. However, if you want to get the Haitian food fix, this is your place. It is buffet style by weight. It gets a little confusing for new customers, since there is nothing written and the guy working there has limited understanding of English and knowledge. I did enjoy the fried meatball with rice. Will come back when I crave some Haitian food.

I drive 35 minutes to come here for food! You get so much for such an affordable price. The service is quick, and the taste is consistent. No complaints!

There was only one other Haitian restaurant that could compete with this place in terms of taste and quality & that was Bon gout in the Ft Lauderdale FL area. Unfortunately they went out of business some yrs ago which leaves this place.

Really dirty place and very expensive. Not sure how weighting works. But the price it says on the weighting is not the same when calculated at the register. This place is a scam. Recommend you NOT to go here.

Not much to choose from. Food was not replenished in a timely manner. No one really greeting or monitoring the food station. Overall food wasn't very good.

Dimly lit, dirty, raggedy and the nerve to be rude. I was in the mood for djon djon so I searched up this place and drove about 7 miles. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how dark it was and how raggedy it looked. It wasn't really self explanatory but luckily I saw someone paying for his food as I walked in so I figured out for my self that it was self serve and I had to dig in the pots that were off too the side and behind the register. All the pot tops were like halfway on and there was food spilled everywhere. The only way to know what's in the pots is to open them because there were only a few dishes that were labeled and most were wrongly labeled. As I opened the first pot I here a voice from the shadows. I looked to see where the voice was coming from and I saw an older woman plopped in the corner speaking to the woman behind the register. They are talking to each other but they were talking about me. As I looked to the women behind the register she motioned her finger to the front of the store. I said "excuse me?". She said "mask". Mind you the older women was wearing a mask under her chin and the women behind the register wasn't wearing a mask at all. And for context we are well passed any mask mandates. So it is no longer the norm for stores to require masks but I walked to the front got a mask and went back to trying to find what I was looking for. After seeing the pot that was labeled "black rice" had something that I didn't recognize... I asked the lady behind the register if they had any... and of course they didnt. Won't waste my time in a raggedy establishment like this again.

Absolutely delicious!!!! Great staff and great food! No dine-in due to Covid, but it doesn’t stop the restaurant from thriving.
