We met for a birthday bite at West Bar and Lounge. Don't let the location fool you. It may not be as lucrative as dining in Soho, but it's still a great neighborhood, and it's quite easy to get there.When you first walk in, it's dimly lit, so don't complain. Your eyes will adjust. We went in a few minutes after it opened, so you'll catch the staff still prepping for the day.We were greeted by a waitress and seated. We ordered our drinks (they were great! I recommend the hurricane) while we viewed the menu. We decided on the crab dip with chips and crab legs for appetizers. For the main course, we ordered ribeye steak with smashed? (mashed) potatoes and broccoli and lamb chops with wild rice and asparagus, and a side of Mac cheese. Believe me when I tell you, the food was absolutely delicious ?. Every morsel was a delightful bite.Thank you to our waitress for great service. The bartender for outstanding drinks and the chef for the amazing food.

My Daugther told me about this place while i was visiting from Georgia. Me and two of friends had dinner there 3/30/24. We enjoyed our dinner very much, the food was great. The problem was the DJ, he played the music so loud we had to scream at each other to talk. We asked the waiter if she can ask the DJ to lower the music, he looked over at us and turned the music up louder. The volume of the music was very uncomfortable, i literally got a headache from the loud sound.

Patronized on a Thursday. The bartender commented she was glad the music cocked out by a mistake and I had to gladly agree, because it indeed was a vibe, but obnoxiously too loud to even converse without screaming in your neighbors ear. The food was really good. Lamb was a little too well done, but I just sampled a piece from my friend. She may have ordered it that way. I didn’t like that the food took way too long to arrive. The drinks were good and strong. The tacos and my friends’ entree (the lamb) arrived first leaving me feeling awkward waiting. When I did receive my food, as I was enjoying the last of it, my friend got the check so we could pay and not have to wait as we wanted to leave by a certain time. Unfortunately, as we paid our bill the bartender automatically threw napkins in my 2/3 finish entree. Subsequently, she took away my meal before I could completely finish it while simultaneously dumping my condiments all over by accident. What an icing on the cake. The food was actually good, so I am complaining that I didn’t get to finish it.Lastly, I was able to park in the childcare parking lot adjacent to this business. Would I return again yes, but probably not at the bar.

Ya’ll need to hire new bartenders. One’s that are personable, sweet, and bubbly! The bartenders here have nasty attitudes. I have bartended in the past and I would never conduct myself how they do. Learn how to be friendly and upbeat to the customers!

Amazing food, great music and grown adult atmosphere. The vibe was awesome and everyone was pleasant. The service is A1 they truly want you to have a great experience . Had a party of 20 and they did amazing with our large group. We will be back again. The drinks were tasty and the food was the best,

Probably one of my favorite regular go to spots food is always great, staff has always been friendly, have dined in awhile I take everything to go but I’m sure I would have the same experience…please bring back the mango grilled chicken salad!
