I stumbled upon this gem of a café during a camping trip, and I couldn’t be happier! One of the biggest reasons I stopped by was because it’s dog-friendly, and they welcomed my furry friend with open arms. The pastrami on rye with grainy mustard was delicious. Baked goods were tasty and fresh. Will definitely make a point to come back when visiting the area.

Lucky enough to have stumbled upon this cafe during a weekend trip. Didn’t realize it had just reopened 2 days earlier, but we sure were lucky with our timing. Not only was the coffee great, their muffins were to die for and we even grabbed some more to go. Extremely friendly staff that made an effort to speak to us and treated us like friends. The sitting area was homey and comfortable and beautifully decorated for the season. You can tell this place and their owners are filled with so much love and will return whenever in the area. NOTE: apple maps says they are closed but they are indeed open!!

I was sorry to read that they were currently closed. Their breakfast wraps and coffee were the best around. I would stop on my way through heading north, and again headed south back to Jersey. I hope the closing is only temporary.

I stop by the Mountain Dog Cafe every time I travel through Stamford to visit my family downstate. If I'm lucky I get to go two days in a row! I absolutely love the atmosphere, the quality and variety of what they offer, and the friendly staff who have now remembered my usual order even though I only stop in sporadically. Honey latte with oat milk and lavender, with one of their ridiculously delicious peanut butter chocolate brownies. I can't say just how much I love this spot!

This place was such a cute find when we stayed in Stamford. First off, their coffee AND smoothies are delicious! My friend got the caramel apple smoothie and even got one to go. The staff were so friendly! The inside was very cozy with a ton of couches and benches. Theres even a warm fire place with books, activities, and games!!! Not to mention their outside patio is also dog friendly! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out !!!!
