Solinsky's is a true craft of a salumeria producing world-class cured meats and barbecue brisket. Only open on the weekends, the owners are a couple who make everything themselves using local ingredients. Their selection changes slightly week to week and ranges from bacon, to prosciutto cotto, capocollo, kielbasa, and my newfound favorite, kabanosy. In addition, they smoke brisket and make the best barbecue I've had (including in Austin) with your choice of fatty or lean meat. They also sell pantry items - tinned fish, cheese, milk, and other goods - and sell baguettes after noon. If you're in the area and eat meat, do yourself a favor and stop in!

This is a very special place and a true labor of love. You cannot find better brisket on the East Coast. That alone is a reason to make the drive (even a very long drive), but you will also find an extraordinary assortment of charcuterie (all made in house), as well as local cheeses, pickles, olives, anchovies, etc. Solinsky's has a devoted following and while I do not live in the area, an annual pilgrimage is pretty much the apex of my culinary year. They have been a bit quiet re: marketing, but rest assured that if you arrive during business hours on Saturday or Sunday you will be greeted by incredibly warm, talented, thoughtful people and be treated to food that is prepared with great affection.

We rode 55 miles for the brisket, would have rode another 55! The brisket was amazing! And the ride there was great also!

The best place with the kindest people and amazing food!
The girl is a beautiful person, so committed and such a sweet person. I love this place. They have the best baguette I ever had (including Manhattan). Love it. Thank you!!!

Went there during Covid after having purchased there at least six times. Lady was rude and yelled at me for not having placed my order on line first. No way to treat a repeat customer.

When getting pickles from Solinsky's is a legitimately accepted excuse to leave an event early you know it's good.

The cheddar brat and brisket is amazing here! The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. Walk up to the window and order, then enjoy a quick walk down the street to the small shops, including “5’clock somewhere” for some whiskey or wine to go with dinner. Yum!

Extremely personable, phenomenal cheeses and brisket. Worth every dollar. I go to Oneonta, and will be driving 45 minutes every weekend for more smoked meats and cheeses.
Amazing beef brisket sandwich.. flavorful, juicy, and hot from the smoker. The only thing even better was the service!
Heavenly brisket & brats. Bacon looked super. Tinned delicacies.
What's not to like??
Perfect place
