A newer location and farther up the island than YaYa, this Cafe offers a variety of dim sum as well as 烧蜡, with duck, pork, and chicken offerings. They also have some pre-made bao buns and other items in refrigerators in the store, which you can grab and go.
The food is excellent, with the chashu being my highest recommendation. It is delicately sweet and toothsome. Even the leaner cuts are tender.
It is recommended that you come for lunch, as dinner is when things tend to slow down and you want fast service and hot food that has not been waiting to be sold all day.
They have new dim sum items like fried taro and sweet potato rolls, all of which are recommended as well. They come hot to the table and are deliciously crispy.
The staff are usually only 3 women so please do have some patience. They got our order wrong once and gifted us some beef ribs, which was so nice of them. There is also no self-service tea, so you will need them to pour for you.
Overall, a great spot for lunch. Reasonable prices and good food!

The food was tasty and fresh! The place is small, but the service is great. It was a little busy at the time but we were quickly seated. We ordered and everything came by faster than we thought. The small tables were barely able to fit everything. Despite how quickly everything came, they definitely didn't rush anything as every was hot and delicious. Comparable to the places, I've had dim sum in Brooklyn and maybe even better. They also sell meat and fresh pastries on the sides of the resturant. You can even purchase tins of tea for your home. Definitely would love to go again.

Finally something Chinese authentic in our area, not this bullshit American-Asian “rice with something “. Highly recommended for people who at least once visited China.

Skip the bakery, focus on the hanging bbq meats. It's all about the duck leg on rice... I've said too much already. The bakery buns are barely acceptable, even at 10am they were meh kinda stale. I'd advise sealing each in plastic, that way we can further destroy the environment by an imperceptible smidgen. Good luck everybody!

I was walking by and saw this place, this is Chinatown right here on Staten Island. You would expect to see this place on the Bowery or on Division St, but its right here! Great place!

The food was authentic Chinese food, not Americanized. Very different from local restaurants. Delicious. STAFF couldn't be happier to help.
